I think opposing defense are daring the Bills to beat them on the outside and the one guy that can maybe do that is Palmer and he's hurt. So while I get that you can try to be more creative what are you really doing that's going to make a difference if the WR's can't get open on the boundary with any consistency?

Jackson Hawes too.  

Cook is elite.  It seems every game Cook gets deep in second level, open field ahead, Cook starts to turn on his ✈️, and just gets shoe string tackled by the last defense.  Cook almost breaks long TDs a couple times a game.

I agree with Reggie Gilliam!  I love his game!

Buffalo's outside receivers. I can't remember a time we have lacked this much talent on the boundary. What we have now makes me miss the days of Donald Jones and David Nelson. Get a quality guy in here via trade. Heck, sign Mecole Hardman. Do SOMETHING. LITERALLY ANYTHING!! We cannot trot Shavers, Coleman And Samuel out there any longer. 

 

Ray Davis. I don't think he even deserves a roster spot at this point anymore. I'd love to see Gore elevated to see if he can bring some fresh juice, but it's hard to elevate him when we need to elevate a Safety and DT every week due to injury. My fear is if we don't find an answer at RB 2, by the playoffs Cook will be....well ...Cooked. 

 

Josh Allen. It's been a rough 3 weeks for him. We can have our fan theories all we want about what's wrong with him. A hidden injury, married life, all the new endorsement deals, whatever, lack or receivers....whatever.  It needs to be fixed. Our MVP is struggling. Hopefully, a date with the Chiefs wakes him up.

Or it could just be a slump.  All athletes have them.  Hell all people have them.

If Gore was a bit bigger but he's light by NFL standards and not a burner. Sure, he has shown grit and some skill in the Preseason but his size is what holds him back. Davis has 30 (approx) pounds on Gore...

But he doesn't use those pounds. And Davis can't seem to find a hole. Give me a RB like Gore that can run through the opening and not into the back of an OLman. Looks like Mr. McGoo trying to run. 

 

Gore also seems to fall forward when brought down. Davis gets pushed back or ripped to the side. Remember, extra pounds doesn't always equate to extra power.

1-Cook- is he best RB in NFL- I say yes

 

2-D additions-Larry O, Hoecht, Max,  Hancock-going to transform our weak D into an above average unit

 

3-Gilliam.  Gilliam usages cranks up late in the season and in the playoffs- that’s how valuable he is, and it’s nice he’s getting recognition and respect now

1-BRADY- the superstar of big downs.  What the ***** did you do to Josh Allen?  ***** you for ***** up Josh!

 

2-Beane- your WGR outburst should have you embarrassed.  You then did a pseudo victory tour on the sports shows declaring “we don’t need WRs, we’re great, we’re all set”.  You should be embarrassed that you have neglected Josh with quality WRs.  Do we have worse WR group in the NFL?  That’s an indictment on you Beane- own it, correct it.  Now!

Maybe. It's not that I didn't like what we saw of Gore in the Preseason but he's not a bull in a china shop either. Davis was supposed to be that guy and when given the start, he played very well last year against the Jets, and did well generally when thrown too. Much of what we are seeing is that he gets his carries often when defenses are playing the run as opposed to Cook who plays when the whole play book is available. Davis may never be a star and we may need a better # 2 RB. Of note, how is Ty Johnson doing this year?
