So, go out, play well bit no more killing yourself, jumping over people etc. Be a great team mate, be a leader, but collect your paycheck and go hometown your wife. I still bet he pulls a "Barry Sanders" after next season. Timing makes too much sense. He's slowly turning into Mr. Glass I keep reading this Barry Sanders comparison but I’d suggest it’s far more likely that he demands to be traded to the Rams. He’d be closer to Hollywood for his eventual career move and his wife is from Southern California with a career of her own. He’d slide right in after Stafford retires and have McVay as his coach; a perfect fit for a star QB. 2 Quote

Belton- id say he has 13 starts across his 5 years in NFL, was delegated to a backup role and did you even know him before this past Sunday? Belton is basically another Taylor Rapp IMO, just younger. I like the creative ideas, not sure we should be trading for Watson with his injuries. And why Belton, maybe we give Hancock some reps? I like Belton cause I feel he's better than both safeties we have now. He's better in coverage (actually a little under rated. Better tackler IMO. Brings a lot of energy that I feel this team needs. But the big one is hes a ball hawk. Consistent in taking the ball away. Could probably get him for a 6 or 7 with the ability to extend him to say 2 yrs 6mil. Not to mention he's on pace to possibly be a pro bowl special teamer (currently leads NFL in special teams tackles). Quote

And Belton is starting for them in the meantime, while Holland is hurt with his knee. I highly doubt we're trading for him or any safety. This defense takes so long to get safeties acclimated - it's probably the most complicated position in our defensive scheme. If we're making any trades, it's for a "1-1" player (ie: a Corner or WR) -- much easier to get them acclimated. Highly doubt we trade for a corner with Max coming back soon. Quote

I would bet good money that this is par for the course for NFL players 2.5 years into their careers. Almost all of them get nicked up and miss games. Quote
Maine-iac Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Rather than burning draft capitol I'd go practice squad diving. Nick Nash (Atlanta) and Keondre Jackson (Baltimore) would both be upgrades to what we currently have. Nash is a big bodied former QB with a nice burst who knows how to get open. Not a speedster but neither is Puca. Jackson is a big hitting safety who had coverage concerns but through the bowl games and preseason looked pretty solid. He's not a speedster but neither was Rapp. At least Jackson is young healthy and willing to bring down some RB's. I wanted Mukuba but speedy coverage safeties are just not sitting around on practice squads waiting to get snatched up. Hopefully Hancock gets some looks at some point. John elway didn't win his super bowls till his penultimate season.. pretty sure Josh grew up idolizing those Montana's and Brady's and elways He's not the intellectual like Andrew luck who doesn't care about his legacy on the grid iron.. I can't see Josh Allen retiring before he's 37-38 You say whistling through the graveyard or rose colored glasses... Its called pure speculation on your part during a boring bye week, and some spoiled fans disappointed that we arent 6-0 right now. Put your money where your mouth is...ill spot you 100-1. Go ahead and put 1k down, that Josh retires after this season. Quote

This whole Love fest with Bills fans thinking he's going to California is so stupid Realistically odds say he's not married to that woman in 10 years.. and he grew up and became a man in Buffalo Tom Brady didn't go home to California.. this is Bill's fans thinking they're not allowed to have anything good 100% I stand by it Nothing says he's going or will request a trade to California besides Bills fans who have PTSD... Nothing FYI McVay was already close to retiring he's not going to be around for 20 years like Bill belichick... This is the epitome of Bills fans consistently being beaten down downtrodden having anxiety and not thinking they could have anything good .. we get a superstar and everybody thinks he's destined to go back home to California lol That is a mentality of people who have been and seen four straight super bowl losses Edited 5 hours ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote
