What’s it say about republicans that he took over their party?

Not much. Can you believe that democrats have been turned out TWICE by the guy? What do you think they are doing wrong?

There’s a reason that Harris didn’t take the well-regarded at home Jew from the critical swing state and instead chose a beta from a state that is solid blue.

Good thing Trump chose the Jew from a purple state!

I’m aware. You aren’t paying attention though. There’s a reason that Harris didn’t take the well-regarded at home Jew from the critical swing state and instead chose a beta from a state that is solid blue. It’s ok for you to pretend otherwise.

i've told you a zillion times that Biden f'ed all of us.  Harris was wrong to pick walz.  I like him but he wasn't to many voters taste.  Are you an alpha?  I've been told I am.

Sinclair owns most of my local stations.  I rarely watch any now.  that won't change.

Come on Fergie.  Take some ownership here on the part of your party.   Biden is who he always was, a narcissist and all-about-Biden, prone to gaffes and telling some whoppers.  You guys like to pretend he was like that classic corvette (the one he liked to keep the top secret files in the trunk), but in truth he was an old junker spitting and sputtering, dropping parts along the road and brakes squeaking like the devil.

He didn’t f you all as much as you allowed yourself to be f’d.

Good for them, good for America!

We just need to get those pesky Sinclair people on board. Do you imagine people on your political side will call for another boycott or is that something only the bad maga people do?

Who said calling for a boycott was bad? I was merely predicting that it would be quite unlike Trump to just let it go ...

I voted for Biden.  There was no other reasonable choice.  he was the only primary candidate that could beat trump in 2020.  And he did.  Soundly.  I would think your nihilism re all things politics would allow you to understand that:  the lesser of evils by far.  It's a constant argument of yours:  Everyone is corrupt so the latest outrageous actions aren't a big deal.

Didn't your mother ever say "If everyone else jumped over Niagara Falls, would you?"

All fine and dandy but then you went on to wax poetic about him being a decent man, about how by all accounts his speech is better than ever, how you saw no cognitive decline, and now you continue to pretend that you were fooled by his decrepitude. All of those things are lies. YUGE lies.

Sorry.

Trump has had 2 chances to choose a Jewish VP. We know he thinks lots and lots of Jews are really great, including Steve Witkoff, Steve Mnuchin, Stev(phen) Miller, even some non-Steves like Howard Lutnick.

And he went with born-again Christian Mike Pence and born-for-the-first-time-at-40 Catholic JD Vance.

And won both times! No need to worry about pandering or fearing any group. Kamala needed PA and had MN in the bag. Something just seems off re: Jews and your party. Maybe we can get Reps Omar and Tlaib to weigh in.

Thank you for dumbing it down. You shouldn’t have to do that with an edgy comment.

I guess McNeil healthcare didn't pay the protection money.  or trump is the Manchurian candidate.  Or both...

Sinclair Broadcast Group is currently exploring merger options for its broadcast business, which could lead to significant changes in its operations. This review comes amid a broader push for deregulation in the broadcast industry, potentially allowing for more mergers and acquisitions. CNBC

Sinclair Broadcast Group Merger Overview

Sinclair Broadcast Group is currently exploring merger options for its broadcast business. This strategic review could lead to significant changes in the company's structure and operations.

Current Status of Sinclair's Business

Broadcast Stations: Sinclair operates 178 TV stations across 81 markets, affiliated with major networks like ABC, NBC, and CBS.

Financial Performance: The company reported a decline in total revenue and advertising revenue in recent quarters, prompting the need for strategic changes.

Market Capitalization: Sinclair's market capitalization is approximately $875 million, with an enterprise value exceeding $4.3 billion.

Potential Merger Details

Strategic Review: Sinclair has received board approval to explore merger options and has engaged in discussions with potential partners.

Deregulation Impact: The current political climate, particularly under the Trump administration, may facilitate mergers and acquisitions in the broadcast industry, as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is considering deregulation.

Future Prospects: While discussions are ongoing, there is no guarantee that a merger will occur. The company is also considering spinning off its ventures unit, which includes the Tennis Channel.

Implications of a Merger

Market Influence: A merger could enhance Sinclair's influence in the broadcast market, especially as it navigates the challenges of declining pay-TV subscriptions.

Regulatory Approval: Any merger would require FCC approval, which may involve changes to existing ownership rules.

Sinclair's strategic moves are closely watched as they could reshape the landscape of local broadcasting in the U.S.
