You think it’s a coincidence I really love the city of Boston (B as in Boston) and drinking beer (B as in beer)? You know what reruns I liked as a kid? Bonanza. B. Come to think of it….”Niagara Bill…”? Jesus, the networks are everywhere and it’s all interconnected. Interesting….

I can’t imagine ABC being so willing to lose the audience Kimmel delivered to GMA. What are they thinking? Madness! Next Sunday the Bills game is on CBS. They must be salivating at headquarters over the audience Josh will deliver to Big Brother. It comes on a mere 4.5 hours after the game. I’m sure it will be advertised during the game and some people will turn off their tv after the Saints are dispatched. What a lead-in!! Schooled! Destroyed! What’s next? Pwned? NBC frequently used the massive popularity of Friends to launch other sitcoms as a lead-in program, placing them directly after Friends in its lucrative "Must See TV" Thursday night lineup. By benefiting from the large audience already tuned in, these shows had a better chance of gaining and keeping viewers. Prove me wrong. 1 hour ago, All_Pro_Bills said: Maybe the network could get more viewers by replacing Kimmel with a comic host that makes fun of and spreads misinformation about liberals and LGBTQ people? And if it proves unpopular, no severance package would be needed given their propensity for violence and murder. You’re trying pretty hard to be a victim. The numbers tell us 4 people have nearly 200 posts in this topic, presumably holding the same opinion throughout. If your posting history provides any insight, you’ve declared how blanking stupid some posters are a minimum of 10-15 times, mentioned Fox News 5 or 6, and added 4 flip.its that you found sorta tasty. While I was speaking more broadly about the outside world and conservatives generally, I get your concerns about the temporary extrication of a true Prophet of late-night from his throne, it’s a blip on the radar. Still, even here, it’s probably 50/50 on who is concerned and who is not. Think of it like this. You go to a meeting to deal with an issue that other people deal with, some version that ends with “anonymous”. There are 17 people there, a topic comes up and it’s hotly debated. 8 people are arguing, 6 people occasionally contribute, 2 try to act as peacemaker. The last, let’s call him Fergie, was looking for the Doctors Without Country Club Borders group but put the day in wrong in his Franklin Planner and is too embarrassed to leave. The meeting can still go 2 hours, but there’s still only 17 people and not much changes start to finish. Sorry, not intrested in Maga opinions, didn't read your post. But to your earlier point it should be a blip on the radar but it's not because of govt pressure to get him off the air. If this was just ABC canceling a show for poor ratings would there even be a thread on it? Shows get cancled all the time by networks and I don't see threads on it. In a better world with politicians and presidents who weren't babies would be more concerned about world piece or the homeless crisis or inflation or some ***** like that. But unfortunately the cult can't stop worshipping Trump. Edited September 20 by 4th&long 1

But unfortunately the cult can't stop worshipping Trump. Well said. Trump is one of the most thin-skinned humans alive. He should worry about real issues, like the faltering economy, rising grocery prices, and the Epstein files. Instead he just replaced one woke with another version of woke and spends most of his time hiding his health issues from the public next to the Epstein files, wondering where Melania is, and looking for the next opportunity to golf. Albwan Posted September 20 Posted September 20 (edited) So, according to the mentally r. on the left, it's "ok" to murder someone with a differing opinion, but it's outrageously horrible to fire a terrible un-funny tv host spreading hate and propaganda? He's been making fun of trump nonstop for over 10 years. No one cares about kimmel. Too bad he couldn't just go away quietly like that racist joy reid. I do not support the removal of statues honoring Columbus. I try to avoid applying modern day morality standards to historical figures who lived at different times under vastly different standards. It’s the ultimate narcissistic play imo and incredibly foolish. Bringing us back to the present, as with the actions of our ancestors and historical figures, culture and standards change. There are things I thought, said and did 35 years ago I no longer think, would say or do today. I would not pass judgement on your decision to wear blackface to a party 30 years ago, but would question the decision for you to do so today. That doesn’t mean you’re a racist, or have an evil heart, how the &&*& would I know that based on a Halloween party? I just think it would be foolish based on the standards of today, even with your revelation that Darth Vader was in the klan! As for liberal tendencies, you might be surprised. People are complicated. Edit: Now, would you wear blackface to a Halloween Party in Vancouver in 2025 or not? I’ll answer oh your behalf because your old pal Leh- nerd already knows the answer—-of course you wouldn’t! Good Morning sunshine the PPP natives are restless and keeping score on Muppy. My daughter LOVES the Equalizer. I wont tell her you made fun of it as far as Kimmel goes I read he may be uniting with like minded folks to have their own show? That sounds juicy. We shall see if it comes to fruition Take care Leo. hasta lasagna. sincerely muppy
