But the Chiefs fan says it and it was like "get 'em!". Kind of felt like a "I can make that joke, but you're not allowed to" scenario. Do not worry for the squatting Chiefs fan who recycled a common refrain without any obvious wit or unique tone, and therefore caught some tame pushback. They deserve much worse than any treatment they will receive here. Quote

Kind of felt like a "I can make that joke, but you're not allowed to" scenario. I think of TBD as a family or a marriage dynamic... if you say something disparaging about your spouse or your sibling it's "ok" because you've got significantly more time invested in that relationship, but if you invite me to your house for a party and I show up and say something disparaging to you about your spouse or your sibling "them's fightin' words"... and that's understood. Outside fans who come to TBD and want to talk about the teams or the upcoming game, that's fine, it's a positive addition to the board. If they want to post here and talk trash about the Bills then they should expect trash talked back, and if they don't appreciate it... 🤷♂️. Not my problem. If I went to Chief's Kingdom and posted "Another guy with a rap sheet, how original..." wouldn't you expect me to get the same sort of responses that Billllllllllll got here in return? 1 Quote

Used to have a huge leg, not sure if he still does at 41 years old. Signing someone like Prater over just brining back the guy they had in TC or another young guy makes me think Bass is having a really bad go of it from a health standpoint. Obviously he's not the guy he was at 29 - 75 for 75 in XP! (Peyton Manning days) AND a 64 yard FG (mile high, but still), but he kicked a bit last year in Arizona and was still pretty reliable - 6 for 6 in FGs, no missed XP, long of 57. I wouldn't be shocked if he becomes our regular PK regardless of Bass's health. You can certainly make a case that even at 41 he's the best kicker we have. Quote

As far as emergency kickers go you could do a lot worse than that. Very interesting move. I'm starting to wonder if we've already seen Bass kick his last kick for the Bills. Not saying that's the case, this could just be insurance. But would it shock anyone if Prater were elevated the next couple weeks and then Bass moved to IR and cut after this season? Quote
