Probably the last drive from each team. But before that.... I mean it never really got to level pegging in terms of the teams that were out there. We had at least five threes starting against the Bears starters. 1 Quote

But after that, there was a hodgepodge of 2s and 3s out there on both sides. So maybe they had more 2s and we had more 3s but if you looked at individual matchups, you'd see in some cases a Bills 2 versus a Bear 2 or a Bills 3 versus a Bear 3. And we weren't winning even those matchups. Maybe that was McD's point. For example, Buffalo Joe looked like AJ Kline. If I were the Bears QB, I'd throw to whoever he was covering because he couldn't cover anyone 1, 2, or 3. Quote

There were individuals who you might class as our 2s on the field at the same time as individuals who are their 2s and likewise 3s and 3s... but they were relatively few. He could well be worried about how often we lost those battles. 1 Quote

Those are the players they could develop. 1 Quote
Turf Toejam 34 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 After looking at the film (gave up on Sunday before the first half ended), if it was McBeane's plan to showcase players in such a horrible light that no other team will be interested in them when they get cut, then I would call that MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
