Makes me think of going to the drive-in. A source for a trifecta of entertainment in my life with family, then my obnoxious teen friends, then dates & girlfriends. Also remember being at a multi screen drive-in with my parents and my brother and I getting caught by Dad trying to peek at the r-rated movies on another screen hoping to see ‘boobies’.

My parents took me to the drive in to see “Goodbye Norma Jean” which they assumed was a telling of the Marilyn Monroe story … it was, but in soft core porn style 😂 they tried to get me to sleep in the back seat, but all I remember was BOOBIES

My 50th reunion is the week after the 4th of July. The organizer of the reunion has said that out of a class of 365, she knows of at least 65 that have passed away. We had a tour of the school from the principal at our 40th. He is now the district principal. He said then "Do you want to fee old? I was 1 when you guys graduated." We are having a tour again. The school itself is now 65. It is the HS next to the Galleria.

Congratulations!

Did you ever see the movie?  :)

That was a big deal, and 50 years I’ll still stop to watch some.

I went to CCHS but the district border was 5 doors away. I lived only ½ mile down the street from JFK.

I didn’t. Maybe you could sneak me into your reunion, start a new craze-50th H.S. Reunion crashers. A bunch of tube tied lonely, separated, unhappy women drinking alcohol and wanting to dance…..be like old times, shooting fish in a barrel.

I hope they do the same as our 40th- our name tags  were our yearbook photos. A few people were inrecognizable. A friend who I hadn't seen on at least 20 years walks up to me and starts talking. I said, sorry, who are you? Then he relates something that only he would know. In HS he had a nice full head of real red hair.  Ten years ago, he was almost bald, gray, and  had a ZZ Top length beard.
