DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted November 7 Posted November 7 The ‘Farmer’s Almanac’ says goodbye after 208 years First printed in 1818, the publication based in Lewiston, Maine, has used sunspots, lunar cycles, and planetary positions to generate its long-range weather forecasts. They predict that winter 2025-2026 will be a “wild ride” with dramatic swings, wintry weather, and a cycle of “chill, snow, repeat.” The season’s coldest temperatures are expected to be in the Northern Plains to New England. This was from 1988, two seasons before the Bills first trip to the Super Bowl and it was when they snapped their 8 year playoff drought(longest in franchise history at that time) Think of the Bills finally breaking the drought in 2017 or when they clinched a playoff spot against Pittsburgh in 2019. This should absolutely be looked at as a good memory Quote

Norwood made that kick and then missed the absolute biggest kick in Bills history a couple of years later. And its tough imagining Sabres classics knowing what they've become over the last decade and a half. Quote

For me personally I don't really equate a game winning kick that happened in 1988 with Wide Right but I can understand why your mind would wander there. And thinking about any good Sabres memories is downright depressing these days I agree with ya there Quote
