Gotta go where the people are. Going to a hotel bar isn't the same as getting raving drunk at a hotel bar. The ability for a 20 something to go out in a social setting where alcohol is present and act appropriately demonstrates maturity that many can't. Quote

Approximately 77,000 college students play football in 774 4-year colleges and 123 junior colleges annually. If you assume that about 1/4 of those are eligible for the NFL draft, that's about 19,000 football players. The NFL selects about 250 of those, or about 1.4%. Hell making a D1 roster, and especially starting on a D1 roster is seriously impressive. I'd imagine the average human who doesn't work in sports knows 0 people who've ever done that 1 Quote

The drafting in the drought years made you want to bang your head against a wall. Either making "luxury" picks at RB with Spiller and McGahee or just drafting the wrong prospects that everyone thought were wrong at the time like Whitner or Ngata or Maybin over Orakpo. That 06 draft where the team could have set up it's trenches through the decade and into the 2010's by selecting Mangold over McCargo and Ngata over Whitner only thing that semi-salvaged that draft was finding Kyle Williams in round 5 but the Bills drafted two DT's anyway so they could have had Kyle Williams and Ngata in the same draft while also getting Mangold at center. The worst moves a team you are a fan of can make are the ones that seem bad at the time. Quote

We all earned full-athletic scholarships for D-1 football. I had to walk on, but earned a scholarship after my red-shirt year. My graduating class in Highschool had 32 people in it. Quote
