But overall, we muddled through it and after that rough start we were able to recover - at least economically - remarkably fast. That's my issue with all the hindsight heroes. You know the type: we shut down for too long, required masks that did nothing, moved to work/school from home too readily, pushed vaccinations too hard, etc., etc. Do these people know that the number of deaths wouldn't have been considerably higher had we not taken these steps?
