SCBills Posted October 7, 2023 Share Posted October 7, 2023 (edited) In the past few years, one side has: -Cheered on large scale, long term lockdowns -Cheered on vaccine mandates with punitive ramifications for those who didn’t fall in line -Sought broad censorship and suppression of speech on open discourse platforms -Used the judicial system to go after political opponents, both leaders and followers. -Seeked to disarm the American public. Some Republicans/Conservatives have gone along with some, or all, of this.. but they would be in the vast minority. This has all been done, primarily, at the behest of progressive/liberal leaders. To speak nothing of policy, where we can all have our preferences/differences, one side has been pushing authoritarianism.. and we all know which side that is. Covid & Trump having been used as convenient Trojan horses to excuse their deliberate furtherance of Democrat-aligned fascism. Like they used Covid, Trump is a willing idiot (and so are his supporters) to be propagandized for the “by any means necessary” crowd in gaining buy-in from half the country over their fear of a virus / hatred of one man. Buy-in that inevitably leads to more government control and less civil liberties for the people it governs.
