That's what the official said after the fact, but what was he waiting for? He had his hand on the flag watching the guy jog to his sideline but waited until the "hip check" to throw it. Congress will not look into this. The NFL makes no claims of fairness. That's exactly why they classify themselves as purely an entertainment business, the same exact way the WWE does.
