It's the line, it's RB....but really, it's the offseason hype

This team bought the hype. They have played the entire season like a team that's waiting for its coronation.  It's the only explanation I have - on paper, this team is BETTER than the one that tore through the league in November, December & January, and almost made it to the show.

 

But they're playing these games like fans do when they go through the schedule.  Miami? Easy win. Jax?  Let's check who we're playing next week.

 

And beyond that, opposing teams are playing every game against us like we're the best team in the league. We're one of those teams now - we're getting every team's best.  

 

This team has to get back to the basics. The talent is there.  They have to play every week like their season depends on it....not like they're waiting to see who they play in the AFCCG.

I don't think on paper our OL ranks in the top half of the league.... And games are won in the trenches supposedly

Breida will have a monster game against NY next wk if activated, 10rush for 55yds ! I would also call up mr euro to add some flavor to this team for RB

Duuuuuuuuude overreact much? They blew out Miami, they blew out Houston, they beat KC, they dominated the second half against Miami-they aren’t sneaking up on teams like they did last year and they haven’t adjusted as much as we would like. 
 

yea they played terrible today but this team has not “bought into the hype.” The line was questionable coming into the season so being down 2 starters was certainly going to hurt them.

Like I said before, there are maybe 2 RB’s that can run behind this ***** O-Line, Barry Sanders and D Henry and both are out for the season. This season is over, timer to start the draft talk threads.

The sky was never falling, reality has just set in that we are about 1 or 2 years away from a legitimate SB push.
