You have me thinking here. I'll bet he resigns and Pence pardons him. The House is threatening to vote to impeach him next week. If they do, then there will be a Senate trial overseen by, guess who, Chuck Shumer. They will be able to subpoena ANYONE they want, AND ask them ANYTHING they want. That's just a TERRIBLE proposition for Trump. Absolute WORST CASE SCENARIO. Imagine Shumer going after him, because he don't give even a single F. Could you imagine the stuff they could discover. They could ask about Russia, Ukraine, you name it. ANYTHING! Trump has zippo leverage right now. ZERO. He is either going to do what the Democrats tell him, or go the route I first proposed.
