thenorthremembers Posted January 5, 2021 Share Posted January 5, 2021 (edited) I know I bring this up every time Chad Kelly comes up, but for all his bad he has done some good things in the Buffalo area. He had a chalk talk at Kelly Camp a few years back that stuck with my son quite a bit. "You are who you surround yourself with." He took responsibility for what a jerk he had been and how many opportunities he wasted. He has also done some very nice things at the ARC of Erie County in the past. Bottom line is none of us are perfect, and most of us are far less than that. Has he gotten more opportunities because of who his Uncle is? Yes he has. But him being a pretty talented young man has something to do with it too. I know I've gotten opportunities in my life because of who I was close with, not family necessarily but its not that unusual. The difference is its not news when it happens to average joes.
