...ABSOLUTELY CORRECT....there is a ton of prosecutorial legwork ahead for the "other three"......the "knee video" is obvious and he's been arrested......we see inaction on the other three but we have no idea as to what their actions may have been leading up to "the knee".....and what about the diversity of the "other three"?...someone posted here that they are an Asian, African-American and a Latino....better diversity?.......why rush to charges leaving loopholes for them getting off?...hell, look at the jogger murder in Georgia.....the alleged "good samaritan" who videoed everything was charged TEN WEEKS LATER with murder ( was not a shooter) as well as attempt to unlawfully imprison....with these damn Appeals Courts throwing stuff out on minute technicalities, I'd prefer doing "their damn best to have something thought to be ironclad" first....

In the Rodney King case they moved the trial to a white suburb. Hard to think they can find a jury anywhere that isn’t “biased” one way or they other.

...this one may have to be moved to Guam.....and I'm sure the prosecutors will do their due diligence as to the tendencies of the Minnesota Appeals Court to protect against any loopholes......probably why they'll take their time with appropriate charges for the other three and I don't blame them..........

Oh Lord . Don’t open up that possibility!

....I'm thinking that is why the manslaughter charge was added specifically to give a jury an alternative choice...

I've seen a couple of different references that his death was not by asphyxiation per the coroner. I don't necessarily believe that. One would think it would be big news and all over the media if it were true so I'm taking a wait and see approach. The possibility does exist and that may have been the reason for the delay in the cops indictment.

...I'm guessing that the prosecutors have significant work ahead with charges for the other three (their racial background as in one Latino, one Asian and one African-American not withstanding but the ideal diversification) to bring probable and credible charges that can stick.....even if the kneeling cop is convicted of murder and the other three are not convicted, it would be twisted into more reasons for more riots and destruction.....THE perfect cover .....

The probable cause statement does state that the initial autopsy did not find traumatic asphyxiation or strangulation as causes of death. And I agree that this could be a big issue for the prosecution, if it’s true.

if this Chauvin character is acquitted you think you've seen rioting now, just wait and see what that scenario brings. I shudder to think. The sad part is that I could see it happen. Nothing much surprises me anymore . It depends on the jury which makes any trial a crapshoot to be honest. Reasonable doubt regarding the cause of death will be a paramount to this guys defense and they will disparage the victim high and low. Its going to be ugly either way. Lord have mercy. I hope he doesn't get away with it my logical mind thiunks no way isnt he convicted but then I remember past trials and then Im not so sure :-(((((((

Even if true, it doesn't matter.

It does if it was a contributing factor to his death at the time due to cardiovascular stress beyond being restrained by the cop. I don't support the cop in this, but if the coroner potentially claims that the man had cocaine in his system and heart disease, then don't expect a conviction for manslaughter. One juror is all that is required for the cop to get off.

The problem for the victim in this case is that he was a drug addict.

I've heard rumors that he was also in some porn movies. If true, it shouldn't matter but obviously can be used to smear him.

The porn movies aren't the issue so much as in his scenes he struggles to perform and always appeared disoriented and in physical distress. Cocaine just ***** your cardiovascular system up so bad. Believe me. I wish none of this ever happened to this dude.

Sounds as if folks are starting to panic that the riots are dying down, now they are day dreaming already

and spreading nonsense that  the cop is slated to get off to fan the flames.

But, yea orangmanbad.
