We won't need senators if that happens (and it won't) -- because the country will be at war with itself.

No. We change leaders peacefully. Sure, a few terrorists might try something, but they will go to jail

We didn't change leaders peacefully this last time --  you were at the vanguard of that. Try to overturn the will of the people on false pretenses and it'll be an actual shooting war.

Keep rooting for it. You're close to reaping what you've sown.

A) Trump wining was not the will of the people, it was the electoral college

B) The idea of a shooting war is stupid.

I barely tolerate the existence of government as it is.

If the left decides to undo the electoral will of the people through malfeasance, then there is no longer a need to pretend any further that we can peacefully coexist.

What's your plan if Trump  is successfully impeached?

He won't be removed.

If he is, under these false pretenses, you'll have a shooting war. It's very, very simple math.

And you'd love it -- because you've proven over the past three years you care not for the peaceful transition of power, or principles, or the constitution, or the republic itself. Because you won't fight for it or risk your life to defend your principles, don't think others won't.

It'll get ugly. It'll get ugly fast. And it'll be entirely the fault of people like you who lived the past three years sucking the D of the establishment while they lied to your face.

Republicans currently have the majority by four seats, and even though the GOP is defending seven of the 10 most competitive Senate seats on the ballot this year, most of those are in states President Trump won. Two Democrats on this list are also trying to get reelected in states Trump won.

9. New Hampshire (Democrat held): In New Hampshire, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D) is running for her third term in a state Hillary Clinton won (albeit narrowly).

Republicans are going to make a run for Shaheen, though, and they’re excited by the entrance of retired Brig. Gen. Donald Bolduc, who is running on his military record, which includes 10 tours in Afghanistan, five Bronze Star medals and two Purple Hearts. Given he’s not widely known in the state, Democrats are curious to see how much Bolduc can raise and whether he faces a primary fight.

6. Michigan (Democrat held): It’s true Sen. Gary Peters is a Democrat trying to win reelection in a 2016 Trump state. But Trump barely won then, and he could just as easily not win it this time around.

Republicans hope to contrast Peters’ low name ID with John James, an Iraq War veteran who also ran for Senate in 2018. He lost to Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D), but he has proved to be a strong fundraiser and media darling on the right.
