The Real Reason Why the Colts' Fans were Booing Andrew Luck

Thinking Luck retired now based on money (the topic of this thread) isn't even in the area code of "conspiracy."  And for all we know, it could be the reason why he waited until almost the last minute.  As you've admitted, he's been thinking about this for awhile so maybe he was contemplating the best way to keep his money because he blames them.  I don't know.  And thread topics can morph into other topics.

I don't care either way.  He's not my QB/they're not my team.  But it's a bad look for him and puts the Colts in a bad spot, which is good (or at least not bad) for me/my team.  Again Brissett would never be anyone's plan.  Florio's just talking out of his ass, as usual.

Tank for Tua?  Or Trev?

The OP is clearly charging Irsay with conspiring with Luck to delay the announcement in order to accrue more ticket sales in return for letting him keep $21 million.  He twice said “the truth will come out”.

If he wrote conspiracy on your forehead backwards and forced you to stand in front of a mirror and read it allowed...that still wouldn’t be any more clear he is saying his is a conspiracy theory.

And again,  what else would the Colts have done in the Spring differently for Lucks absence that what they have done since Spring in Luck absence?  As always,  it’s a very simple question. Just answer it as best you can.

I didn't read the original post.  But that's also plausible.  You might be shocked to learn this but people often do things to maximize their pocketbooks, even at the expense of others.  And again, the topic within a thread can and often does change.  There's no law against it.

And maybe the Colts could have gone after Nick Foles?  You know, the guy Reich won a SB with in Philly?

Yes. Absolutely. It’s sheeple like you who believe the likes of Andrew are in it for “team” “competition” and “love of game”. As I recall, Oliver Luck had his boy’s ear (much like Daddy Elway with his boy back in ‘83). Don’t believe the “aww shucks” persona from Neck Beard. There’s a profit motive here and it was corralled by Andy at the expense of moms and dads in the stands.

"Conspiracy?  Who's talking conspiracy?"

You are now.

Anyway.  It should be very clear to you that the Colt have been all in on Brissett as the Luck alternative since 2017 when he filled in for Luck, and that they turned down trade offers last year when Luck was coming back.  He has taken every starter snap this off/preseason.

So....the Colts are doing exactly what they wanted to do in the event that Luck wasn't playing this year from the first day of camp.  So suggesting they would have done something different earlier is obviously something your are straining to make up.

Foles?  He was a Jag before Luck got married and there was any suggestion that he had an issue with the calf.

You're flailing now, as usual. Dying on a hill you really don't need to.

If that's what you want to call a "conspiracy," have at it.  Doesn't mean that it's now what happened.

And Foles was signed in the...Spring.  You asked a very simple question and I answered.  Better luck next time.

There it is.  Total conspiracy lunacy.

Logic be damned---this is how it happened sheeple!!!!

LOL...keep the laughs coming.

It's the definition of conspiracy doc, and you've latched onto it.  Always diving into the shallow end of the pool.

Folks signed on March 11.  Luck got married at the end of that month.  It was around that time that he first started talking of his calf pain.

This stuff is easily found on google, doc?  Why do you always do this to yourself?  Easily avoidable error.

Maybe one day you'll get out of the kiddie pool and realize that this type of "conspiracy" happens all the time WEO.  But to dismiss it out of hand when you have no idea but think you do is your MO.

You don't think it's possible that he was thinking about retirement well before he got married?  Maybe his fiance started putting a bug in his ear saying he's made enough money and should retire before he gets hurt further?  It was the calf pain that did him in?  Hey, it's a theory!

Why stop there doc?  He was thinking about retirement in 2017!  2016! While he was at Stanford!

Yes!  Conspiracies are real and happen "all the time"!  lol---doc you went from "who's talking conspiracy?" to "conspiracies "happen all the time"!  Pure doc flip flop LOL.

Yes, YES!  The Colts FO MUST HAVE KNOWN that Luck's FORMER SOVIETSKY FIANCEE put the retirement bug in his ear during some sweet post-coital pillow talk.....and therefore they should have made a STRONG MOVE for Foles BEFORE the Jags signed him!!

LOL, doc.....you ALWAYS deliver!

Again WEO, you're the only one calling this/talking about a "conspiracy."  If it happened, it was a business decision.  Irsay gets to sell more season tix, luxury boxes and merch and Luck gets to keep his signing bonus.  No one really gets hurt and no one goes to jail.

And you think Luck couldn't have started contemplating retirement after missing all of the 2017 season?  But no, he gets a little pain in his calf and that's what put him over the edge, leading him to screw everyone over just weeks before the season starts?  That's just silly.

You said they could have gone after Foles! When?? Come on doc. Tell us exactly how and when they should have gone after Foles!

Several posters in this very thread have laughed off this conspiracy theory the OP put forward.  I’ve already pointed out how it would, as described plainly by the OP, be a conspiracy to defraud season ticket holders. In fact it’s the reason he started this thread!!

And now you are all in on his theory

WEO, come on.  Ain't no goddamn NFL team going all in on Jacoby Brissett.  Common man.

Nope.  It's just a theory.  Just like going with Brissett was their plan when they found out about Luck wanting to retire.

Show us the evidence to the contrary.  Should be easy for you, no? Let’s hear it

Here's my evidence ... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BrisJa00.htm  ... he sucks.

Who's running?  If we go with the theory that the Colts knew early-on that Luck was retiring, they call up Foles' agent and get it done.  In no reasonable theory is Jacoby Brissett a real "plan."

It’s so simple....yet WEO wants us to think “all is well”. Irsay wanted Briquette as his QB this season as much as he wanted his coke laced with Ajax. Air go, give Luck a monetary incentive to hold off on his announcement as long as possible.

No, the calf pain was just unbearable.

Answer the question Gug.  How did you conclude the Colts were not going to rely on Brissett to (again) fill in for Luck ?

Do you and doc believe that the Colts are absolutely against Brisett as their QB??
