Kind of made me think of Fitz having his great breakout season with that loaded Jets front 7 (didn'y get knocked out of the playoffs by the Bills?) That must have sucked. I think it turned out alright, he played great for several years and it wasn't too expensive to part ways. I think it worked out a little better than the expected value when they made the deal. Doc Brown Posted March 25, 2018 Share Posted March 25, 2018 I voted no because I never think it's wise to give a massive contract (100 million) to anybody other then a quarterback. It's better than the Dareus contract because Williams had a few good seasons, but he still wasn't worth that much. You are in the minority, because when you take a look at the polls its nearly split 50/50. There's no doubt Mario had a few great seasons, but keep in mind he was the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Do you really feel that his performance lived up to that monster contract?
