During the national anthem, just past the end zone, a 96-year-old Senator Bob Dole, a seriously-wounded veteran of WWII, insisted on standing up out of his wheelchair during the national anthem. And with help, that’s exactly what he did. His daughter, Robin, caught a photo of the moment. In an age when people can’t even agree on honoring our flag, it’s powerful to see one of our nation’s greatest heroes continuing to show us the way. 3 1 1
