Hughes still has life on the edge but no interior pocket pressure last year. Maurice Hurst, Derrick Nnadi or Da'Ron Payne. 4. Franchise ILB, Preston Brown had a lot of tackles but made few impact plays.Take your pick of Rashaan Evans, Micah Kiser or Roquan Smith. a 100 + tackle, 4 sack, 4 INT player. If these are all filled the Bills will make the playoffs again and compete for the division. (WHAT DO YOU THINK??) 60% 3rd down conversion?? Wtf And we already had a QB that scored 24pts/game in 2015 and 2016. We didnt win a division.
Call_Of_Ktulu
Brady is going to start his decline, it could even happen right in front of our eyes today. As Bills fans we already dodged the biggest bullet which was the Patriots trading away a franchise QB in Jimmy G. The odds of them finding another great QB is astronomical. Without Brady I think every team in the playoffs has a more talented roster. The decline is coming and it's going to be fun to watch, I'm hoping it's slow and painful. I'd resign Gaines for the right price, but he is above avg even if some homers think he's a probowl caliber player. He isn't, but we have so many other needs. 3. Agree 100%. We need a great DT and a very good one. I love Kyle, but his game has slipped a LOT in the last 3 years. He'd be great as a backup, but I can't see him coming back for that. A run defense would be a really nice thing to have. It's been almost a generation since we've had a top 5 run D. 4. Agree 100%. Brown is well below avg for an NFL LB. He gets a lot of tackles because other teams target him as a weakness and we have no depth whatsoever at LB. We may need a Sam LB as well to replace Lorenzo.
