Captain Murica
I'm surprised they didn't keep both corners tbh. They must really like the potential of Conor McDermott and Khari Lee. It was said they really like him and want to mold him since he is big and athletic, but still raw. Patriots wanted to sign him to their PS but the Bills claimed him. I have no clue what they like about Lee.
Big C
Yeah, kidding -sort of. It’s just crazy. It’s gotta be disconcerting to the players though, to be used to welcoming new guys in mid season and doing everything they can to bring the guy up quick while helping them get adjusted off work just to see the guy dumped a couple days later. Think it's a little different with waiver claims, compared to re-signing a guy like Philly Brown and and then cutting him days later. But, we do see examples of this with other teams, for example CJ Spiller and the Chiefs. I would imagine fringe guys have to take whatever opportunity they have and hope they get the chance to prove themselves on the field.

MarlinTheMagician
Yes. Pitts is the great nephew of Elijah Pitts. Okay, I am lying -- Perhaps son of Ron Pitts?

It is one way some players can stay active even if teams do not think it is worth paying them even minimum salary for entire year.

Seriously! I don't tease many on this board...but I saw many folks make similar comments. Did anyone even think before they commented? Grow up! Samwell Tarly
Kick all the tires you like, Buffalo. This team needs depth players and I say keep sifting through until you find guys that fit your system. With high injury rates and limited rosters I see little choice but to scour the discount rack on a daily basis.
grb
At moments like this, I tend to remember the Bills traded Kevon Seymour for Kaelin Clay.
