With all the depth players that will contribute to Special Teams, if penalties continue will he get some of the blame? He has been a hold over from the last two regimes. He was with the Panthers but I believe before McBeane. You think if ST falter he will be held accountable?

Apparently they are putting a huge emphasis on special teams. That's why they cut JWill supposedly (the other RB's play special teams). If they put that much into ST's and they still aren't good then yes I think Crossman will be held accountable

Crossman's track record actually says though that when you give him talent (either let starters play or give him a lot of specialists on the roster) his STs are good. Where he struggles is getting a disciplined and organised unit out of depth players.

Makes sense once you step back and think about it, if you're not a number 1 on the depth chart at the position or a star you should be contributing to the team in another way.
