TYROD Throwing Downfield??

Went to the game yesterday and watched pre-game warmups...I noticed how effortlessly Tyrod was throwing from his own goal line to the 35 yard line and hitting his targets. Little did I know that these pre-game passes would be the longest deep throws of the day?!

Where were the deep balls to Watkins, Goodwin, Clay? Was this Roman's conservative play calling or lack of recognition by Tyrod? Although he seemed rushed most of the day due to bad O-line play, Tyrod missed some open receivers on many occasions. Not even taking a shot downfield, was showing too much reverence for the Ravens...

Also, since the Bills deferred, we got the ball at the start on the 2nd half. Since half the stadium was still getting concessions and it was relatively quiet, the bills showed no urgency to move the ball quickly. It was a missed opportunity to take advantage of a quiet stadium.

One last rant- why the "eligible receiver" call for O-Lineman Ryan Groy at least 5 times during the game? Was Rexy trying to throw a "smoke-screen?" Burn the footage from this game up!

Another poster claimed two deep safeties almost the whole game took it away. Did you also see this, or was it there?

I did notice the half empty stadium to start the second half and totally agree they should have stepped it up, maybe even go no huddle. But there is no urgency ever in this offense. We can't snap the ball unless there are less than 3 seconds on the play clock, even late in the 4th quarter. very frustrating....

The Bills have only one QB with any semblance of pocket presence, field vision, anticipation and the ability to throw receivers open.

Unfortunately he is the rawest of rookies aspiring to play the most difficult and demanding of positions.

Sensing the probable result of live action and responding to it appropriately and immediately is an inate gift that successful players have.

Wayne Gretzky wasnt very big and wasnt the fastest guy on skates, but he is in the GOAT discussion because, as he frequently himself said, he was always able to visualize how action would unfold an put himself in position to score. It was his greatest attribute.

Cardale's physical gifts are pretty awesome, but what mostly bodes well for him is possession of this skill.

All good and successful QBs have that.

as the 6th lineman, playing blocking TE, it would be required to declare him eligible... assuming thats what would be happening.
