Ed- McDermott has the autonomy as the "Head Coach" to use his last timeout and over-ride Daboll on a very low percentage deep ball call on 3rd down. I don't highly doubt it at all given his track record of ultra conservative play calling. He demonstrates poor situational play calling as the Head Coach. His team- his directive.

Let's get this straight.... McDermott's directive was to stall our own momentum after Allen throws two darts against a Cleveland "prevent defense" by huddling up, run 30 seconds off the clock, and settling for the game tying 53 yard field goal on the foot of Stephen Hauschka? I have always questioned McDermott's time management skills and this further underscores his inability to handle the clock during a big moment. Folks- this is the Dick Jauron conservative mentality all over again. How would a competent coach like Bellecheck and the Patriots have handled the last 1:44 left and 1 timeout left in the game? In a much more efficient and organized manner, and would have won the game!

Thank god! Maybe the Ryans will be soon too.

It's no longer Tyrod time....unfortunately, the common denominator is front office personnel decisions. We can blame these remedial players, as they are a "byproduct" of Doug Whaley's poor draft picks. He hung his hat on EJ and now Tyrod with a half-ass committed $90MILL contract. It is plain and simple- "gut" the front office and coaching organization like the Sabres did and put in a solid GM who can effectively draft quality players. It starts with a franchise QB (not EJ or Tyrod). Hiring Rexy who wanted to make us a "bully" was never a good move in the first place. He is a Defensive Coordinator at best in the NCAA. Rexy has an undisciplined team full of suspensions and penalties. Good teams just don't put up with these violations... Maybe the average Bills fan's expectations are so low over the past 16 years, that Rexy could be "sold" as the next big thing. Time to move on from Rexy, Whaley, and Brandon. Time for some wholesale changes this year! Wake up Peguals...

Went to the game yesterday and watched pre-game warmups...I noticed how effortlessly Tyrod was throwing from his own goal line to the 35 yard line and hitting his targets. Little did I know that these pre-game passes would be the longest deep throws of the day?! Where were the deep balls to Watkins, Goodwin, Clay? Was this Roman's conservative play calling or lack of recognition by Tyrod? Although he seemed rushed most of the day due to bad O-line play, Tyrod missed some open receivers on many occasions. Not even taking a shot downfield, was showing too much reverence for the Ravens... Also, since the Bills deferred, we got the ball at the start on the 2nd half. Since half the stadium was still getting concessions and it was relatively quiet, the bills showed no urgency to move the ball quickly. It was a missed opportunity to take advantage of a quiet stadium. One last rant- why the "eligible receiver" call for O-Lineman Ryan Groy at least 5 times during the game? Was Rexy trying to throw a "smoke-screen?" Burn the footage from this game up!
