Sunday afternoon, he may be lining up as the starting running back for the Buffalo Bills in Nashville. Wood, who was signed to the team’s active roster last week after LeSean McCoy re-injured his hamstring, may be thrust into the starting lineup after the team learned Karlos Williams has a concussion. That announcement was made Tuesday morning on WGR by General Manager Doug Whaley. Williams is day-to-day and hasn’t been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. But if he can’t play, the 5-11, 213-pound Wood may very well have an opportunity that he never imagined he’d get not too long ago. Sorry for the language, but are they flag happy or do they let these guys play football?? They can be both. The refs let the Giants get away with a lot of hitting but flagged the Bills.
