Nope, but why not recognize the actual leaders instead of being a "he worked hard" award? Or do you think they take it as a way to fire up guys a little extra each week and the idea that you need to name captains to know leaders is silly? How many days until fans can acknowledge the ups and downs with his skill sets? He's super talented but gets out of control far too often - hopefully he finds a balance. I think it's more of trying to get different players to step up into a leadership role. With FJ gone and Kyle short on his career this team needs leadership. So where it's a switch from what was done previously, I can see the benefits of doing it this way and don't really see where it can have a negative impact. The leaders in the room now aren't going to be offended because they don't have the C on their jersey. They're going to continue to lead because that's what they do. Maybe at any given time , they all and each need to lead.. and the ex wife and i were talking today about how cool Pop Warner/Pee Wee was. Everyone played ( at least a little bit)and everyone got recognised . High school it became a business regardless of the sport. Fairport was all about winning and the fun was gone. oh well. Captains were 4 former Miami Players: OG Richie Incognito TE Charles Clay kicker Dan Carpenter specialist Marcus Thigpen and former University of Miami tackle Seantrel Henderson Of course Chris Hogan, another former Phish, and Charles Clay both got to score TDs against they former team and Dan Carpenter kicked a long FG.
