Pick a QB, any QB...who in 2015?

It will only take balls if it's a risky move.

What he really needs is a willing partner to make a deal, in FA, trade or otherwise.

I hope he finds a willing partner because the QB position needs help, unfortunately every GM in the league knows that so Whaley going to be paying primo $$$.

How, pray tell, do you know this? Especially when he proved the total opposite when he let Levitre go.

The Bills will trade for Nick Foles. Philly will be shopping him hard this off-season. Chip Kelly wants a mobile QB to lead his offense. I see this happening. Foles will also be a free agent in 2016. Philly will not commit to him long term.. This makes sense for both teams because the Bills get better at QB on a 1yr addition for Foles and Philly will draft a QB high in this yrs draft possibly Hundley. Chip Kelly doesn't seem like a guy that likes to waste time. Nick Foles come to Buffalo baby!

I'd take Foles. Foles for EJ and Spiller. Get'r done Doug!

Really dude? You need that explained to you?

I'm with you. Whaley has shown no lack of balls. That won't be the issue, IMO. But I doubt he takes a flyer on a guy who isn't a good bet to be an improvement. I'd be shocked if he went after a guy like Cutler, though.

He doesn't know this. He's just posting random stuff.

Spiller is a FA and can't be traded. Really dude. You need that explained to you?

Yes. Dude. Please and thank you.

Ok, let me ask you this, how do you think every other GM views the Bills QB situation? Good? or not so good? I think, not so good, therefor basic economics of supply and demand takes over. That's how I view it.

We have a new owner who will spend the money to make this a better team. I don't think Levitre or Jairus Byrd were worth the money they got elsewhere. That was a good second round, back then. Byrd and Levitre.

Anyway, unless we get a good OL coach, it won't matter who is up there. We have some athletes on the squad who need coaching. Cyril Richardson was a unanimous All-American road grader guard for Baylor. Cyrus Koinjeijeokoijloo

was a first team All American projected as high as 11th in the draft. With that kind of talent riding the pines and weak guard play, something is wrong. Bring in Jim Hanifan. I heard he quit smoking, and has a few years left before he dies of old age. He knows how to build a line. Bring back that dude from Lockport. Get somebody in there. Bring in Joe D. Somebody.

It all starts in the trenches. One trench is good. The other not so good.

You didn't explain anything. You wrote a lot of words and said nothing. Try again.

My question, again ... how do you know that other GMs know that Whaley is going to spend a lot of money for a QB? That is, after all, what you asserted.

OMG, I know that, I was just running with the get Foles post. Geez!

I think you are on to something. The Bills should trade Watts and Megatron for a QB. Brilliant!

You are forgetting Whaley started 2013 with three rookies (OK Thad wasn't' a rookie) at QB and 2014 with the same QBs as 2014. The Bills won 9 games this year. Why would you, or anyone, assume Whaley is willing to make a bad deal for a QB now?

I don't know if Whaley is going to spend "a lot" of money, but if somebody has something Whaley wants, then Whaley pays what ever the other GM wants, if he wants to get it. That said, other GMs knowing the Bills QB situation, they may increase their rates to Whaley opposed to someone else who is less desperate.

It was hard for me to know that based on your post.

It's all good.

Believe it or not, there are a few other teams as desperate (or even more so) than the Bills for QB help. There is quite the market for QBs.

How ... for the love of everything holy ... do you know this? That's what I want to know.

Because Whaley does not have a history of overspending. Ever. So I want to know how you know that other GMs will "increase their rates," or how you know that other GMs think that Whaley is "desperate."
