15 minutes after the shooting.

Ghoul.

The lack of self-awareness is expected - hypocrisy wears you better than honesty ever could

Of course CNN words it with TRUMP being first.

Perhaps people will wake up fully soon, but I doubt it.

Are the libs bringing up gun control and the 2nd amendment completely detached from reality? A man was just assassinated for having mainstream views that tens of millions of people agree with. You think that will make those millions of people want to disarm themselves? It is going to have literally the opposite affect. Conservatives are going to support the 2nd amendment now more than ever before.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) blames Republicans for Charlie Kirk being assassinated, saying that it was because they do not support gun control

The gun that was used was a bolt action hunting rifle, the very rifle gun control advocates say people should own

So after this assassination, do we agree that:

- It would make sense to make public assembly areas like this one at UVU gun-free zones?

- It would make sense to have security checks before entering a public assembly featuring a political speaker? A controversial political speaker?

- It would make sense to have a drone in addition to cameras to make sure that no one has brought a gun into the immediate vicinity?

We seem to all agree that there is some limit to 2nd Amendment rights. Does anyone think it is a good idea to have open/concealed carry in a forum where the President is speaking?

So what is the limit?

Someone adjudicated mentally ill should be prohibited from possessing a firearm, right?

And I understand that some on the right thing trans people are per se mentally ill, so it would extend to them, right?

What about the lover/spouse/partner of a trans person?

So what is the limit?

Republicans will vote against this.

... So, red flag programs for mental illness. Trans, depressed, and all characteristcs of the dsm9 list become red flags.

Liberals have no foresight. The dsm9 and mental health labels are malleable. They can change with the wind. Therefore, who gets a gun and who doesn't depends on who the flavor of the week is for mentally ill.  Are trans mentally ill this week? In 3 years are Republicans? In a year are antifa reddit ramblers mentally ill? Is someone who flies a pride or rebel flag?

Yeah, liberals need to think this out. Thankfully the second amendment isn't malleable.

It already is.

Who pays for it? There already is security. Ben shapiro said he had almost 500 people serving as protection staff at Berkeley

- It would make sense to have a drone in addition to cameras to make sure that no one has brought a gun into the immediate vicinity?

Who pays for it? Who's responsible? When it fails or someone doesn't obide who is at fault or takes the task?

No we don't at all lolollllollllolllll none at all.in my opinion

So no limits on 2nd Amendment rights means everyone at a Trump (or other) campaign rally may bring in one or more firearms.

You really think this is what the 2nd Amendment means?

Ah yes, the Second Amendment is sacred and untouchable but human rights and basic decency? Totally malleable.

You only worry about “moving goalposts” when it might inconvenience your guns, not when it’s your side trying to label trans people, liberals, or anyone you don’t like as mentally ill.

And funny, you didn’t mention:

  • The white supremacist who massacred Black people at Tops Market in Buffalo - why?
  • The white supremacist who slaughtered Black parishioners in a Charleston church - why?
  • The white supremacist who gunned down dozens at a Walmart in Texas - why?
  • The white supremacist who murdered worshippers at a Pittsburgh synagogue - why?
  • The white supremacist who killed innocent people at a Wisconsin Sikh Temple - why?

And let’s not forget:

  • Richard Baumhammers (2000, Pennsylvania) - Killed 5 in a racially motivated spree; targeted people of color.
  • Wade Michael Page (2012, Wisconsin) - Killed 6 at a Sikh temple; neo-Nazi and member of white power bands.
  • Joseph Paul Franklin (1970s–80s, multiple states) - White supremacist serial killer; murdered at least 8, targeted Black people, Jews, and interracial couples.
  • Chevie Kehoe (1990s, Midwest) - White supremacist extremist; involved in multiple murders while trying to establish a whites-only state.
  • Mark Anthony Stroman (2001, Texas) - Murdered 2 and wounded others in “revenge” attacks after 9/11, targeting people he thought were Muslim or Middle Eastern; linked to neo-Nazi beliefs.

And of course - the right-wing extremist who murdered Democrats in Minnesota - why no mention there either?

I have really big gloves on right now. So I can't type and this is all voice to text but my earbuds are on 10% and I'd rather listen to the 1999 countdown from September 4th and country music, with that I can pretend that you're singing the songs to me and then you'll have a twang in your voice but then you won't like that because that's generally country like. And country means you're usually a republican. But then again it was the Democrats who wanted to have the clan and they were Southern so, I'm not quite sure. So either way it's really hot out and it sucks right now because it's hot out and I'm all suited up and my 10% earbuds playing good old '90s country are going to die soon and that really annoys me because there's been some bangers on and now I have to read your post and now you have to read this and you're not even sure what you're reading and I'm not even sure what you're reading but at this point it's safe to say it's hot out, 10% of my battery is left of my earbuds, I think most of this is correct on the voice to text but there's a sun glare on my phone. And that's kind of funny, not like the show the voice, that's not funny. I don't know what that is honestly I've never watched it but here we are and I have less than 10% and right now we're missing a song by Doug Stone because I interrupted that to do voice to text to you. It's a good song, you might know it and it's called why didn't I think of that. It's all the stuff that he didn't do to make his ex happy that her new boo is doing so I guess it's kind of an r&b song but it's country but r&b doesn't really fit with country because well you know like I said earlier the stereotype. Which I don't get because there's that guy from hootie and the blowfish and then there's that other guy who does that song about tipsy or something and then there's that Old Town road dude. I didn't even know he was black or gay until someone said you don't like the song cuz he's black and gay. I guess that just means I don't like the song more because well actually I don't care. But 10% is left in my battery and I'm really missing this Doug Stone song and now we're still doing voice to text and now my battery is at 76% of my phone because I really haven't used it since 12:00 when I fully charged it even though I normally do battery protection only to 80% uh-oh...... I've got to go to kmart. Waffner's on at 7:00. Got to watch wapner. Got to watch underwear at kmart. But no seriously another at 5% and I can't miss this banger. So. Oh bye bye

and not a single word about white supremacists murdering innocent people. Pathetic deflection from a coward too scared to face reality.
