He does a few things that are great and translate to the NFL, but he seems a bit limited athletically for a wide out expected to take over the #1 receiver role. His body type and style probably projects best as a hybrid TE. I see Ebron becoming a offensive mismatch "TE" like Gronk and Graham. I see Evans having a very good, yet up and down career like Jackson. This is just my opinion based on watching their videos and projecting their games to the NFL. smapdi Posted May 8, 2014 Share Posted May 8, 2014 (edited) I'd be happy with Evans as long as they don't burn their 2nd round pick in the process of getting him. Too much talent to give up 41. If they go WR at 9, they almost certainly need to grab a OT in the 2nd to take care of the hole at RT. I would have no problem trading Stevie and our 3rd to move up if we're grabbing a WR. Oakland could use a WR and he's from the bay area. It's a very crowded WR depth chart if they bring one in and keep Stevie: Mike Williams Stevie Johnson Robert Woods Marquise Goodwin Mike Evans TJ Graham I don't see this offense running a ton of 4 WR sets so Evans would need to be 3rd on depth chart Edited May 8, 2014 by smapdi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
