PLEASE, no more Toronto!

Recommended Posts

What a disadvantage to play in Toronto ... for all the reasons previously stated. Horrible decision for the team (maybe not the FO).

How many empty seats in that stadium? It is clear they do not want NFL there. Big mistake if any team moves there.

5 losses out of 6 games.

I have a idea: let's host a dome team, and play in a dome as a home team.

F**king ridiculous.

If this team can't win in neutral environments, can we expect them to win away games? If not, 7-9 is our ceiling.

did you hear that crowd? far from neutral. every game we have played there it sounds like we're the "visiting" team. the crowd plays a huge role and unfortunately up there, the crowd seems to favor the opposing team so far.

not to mention, they played a dome team in a dome, in december. again, far from neutral.

So we can't win away games? One extra away game and it kills our season? Toronto fans just wanna see big plays, and Atlanta made more than we did. The Bills making big stops got the crowd in it as well. Hell, they were blowing the horn on 3rd downs. Atmosphere, more often than not, doesn't affect good teams. The Bills were not a good team.

if anyone questions the primary motivation of this organization, winning vs profit, look no further than this yearly game. all other things being equal (and with the bills that's far from a valid assumption) home teams win more often than away. for a team that needs every possible advantage, this is like waving the white flag.

It sure doesn't help.

Maybe I should start a thread titled "Who wants to apologize to Russ Brandon?" We could all congratulate him on the fine job he is doing expanding our regional base.

If that game was in Orchard Park, the Bills win going away....argue all you want about neutral friends, etc., you don't sell your advantage in the name of regionalization. F-ck Bon Jovi F-ck Rogers Communications and F-ck Toronto and it's crack smoking obese sweaty disgusting mayor.

so the 12th man is just a myth? it can effect anyone, even good teams. You notice quite a difference in crowd reaction. toronto fans don't want to see anything. they arent even buying tickets. tickets were being given away and seem to always end up being handed out when they play in toronto. and yea, sometimes ONE game can kill a season. Hence, the wildcard. so why should that ONE game be a game played away, in a dome, with a swayed crowd?

So we win this game in the Ralph and then what? Go into a "hostile" Tampa and Jags environment and then go to Foxborough? Please. Jags fans don't complain about the London game because they know they suck and we're delusional enough to think Toronto is the reason for the Bills troubles.

If we win out, you can make the argument Toronto is the reason for our playoff woes. Let's finish .500 before we start complaining about our WC dreams.

I never said the Toronto game was preventing us from the playoffs this year. I never thought for a second we were going to the playoffs this year.

What, 13 and 84 can hold on better in RWS? The team doesn't give up momentum up 14-0 in RWS? That's on the players, and not the site.

oh please there are so many other factors that play a role in a win or loss. when you lose your home crowd, uh yea, it matters and ANY player of ANY sport will tell you that it's night and day.

you can nitpick those two fumbles if you'd like and ignore that bigger picture that the Bills are at a clear disadvantage when they play up there, if that's what floats you boat.

some players have openly express they discontent with the toronto series as well as fans.

more games against teams coming off a bye or a thurs game and one less home game a year. all disadvantages. the FO is not putting this team in an environment to win. plain and simple.

Do you think if we were a playoff team, with playoff talent, the Toronto game would stand in our way? I don't. Good teams win in hostile environments.

No matter how good or bad this team is going forward, we are the only team in the nfl with seven home games EVERY year. We are one of the most passionate fan bases in the world and because of our city's small market we get this crap every year. It sucks.

It's not an excuse for our shittyness but it just plain fuggin sucks.
