Regardless, I am actually contractually bound to a single mea culpa per thread (it was a special addendum to the TBD terms of service that Scott had me agree to, as quid pro quo for my signing bonus), so you and the rest of the denigrated masses are, as a matter of fact, out of luck on this one. There hasn't been any separation by Smith, but he also doesn't fall on his ass or run into his lineman's rear and bounce off. It's likely given Sanchez being Sanchez that they'll go with Smith. Sanchez was hand picked by Rex Ryan and former GM. Smith is the pick of the new GM. I think Rex Ryan's loyalty is still with Sanchez and he will get the nod if all things are equal.
