Romney and Ryan will do exactly that. I take it you believe the MSM will cover it fairly and sufficiently? I think not. There's room for another storyline from someone not named Ryan or Romney. Haven't heard anything from her about Bernie and the boys in months. Rumor has it that Romney testified that Staples was no big deal and basically would not succeed -- on behalf of Staples' owner, against his ex wife. If true, the left will spin this as Romney being anti woman and "clueless" in business. I'm far less concerned about Obama than I am the MSM. This conditioned sense of victimization you have has prodcued such a gross overcorrection in the way you view information sources that it has put you square in the palm of a single private political party counting on you to not think critically about their own narrative and not even consider the viewpoint (or even just a reporting) of anything from a source not sanctioned by them. For what's obviously a manufactured reason, Sullivan blames Mitt Romney for a divorce settlement she received during the early-nineties. Time's Mark Halperin reports that while he was Chairman of Bain Capital, Romney was called to testify in the divorce proceedings between Staples founder (and Romney friend) Tom Stemberg, and Ms. Sullivan. Supposedly, Romney's testimony about the value of Staples at the time affected the eventual settlement agreement. Flash-forward over 15 years later and Ms. Sullivan still hasn’t gotten over it. This was made before Obama famous statement, but he must have seen a preview and thought it was a great line.
