Don't know why you'd laugh.

The won-lost record of first year coaches it typically very bad. Sure there are exceptions but these are guys who've taken over horrendous programs… thus the coaching changes.

The OPs factoid is pretty significant as to what it implies about the 2012 season.

Completely agree SJ. Even though Miami beat the Bills twice last year, those are still six games you put into the "should win" category at the start of the season, if you believe the Bills are on the right track and continuity means anything.

For every post that contains "OMG The Bills face _____, we're going to get more wins this year!" remember that the Patriots and Jets will likely face the same things, and will also be getting more wins.

We need to worry less about what happens outside of our division, and focus on beating the teams we face twice a year.

This needs to be painted in every corridor, toilet stall, lunch room and coaches office at OBD.

The Bills record is abysmal against the division. 20-40 in the last 10 years, 8-22 in the last 5 and 2-10 under Chan.

If the Bills can come out of the division games with a winning record, everything else will fall into place. This has been the achilles heel of this team and until they fix this, the futility will continue.

Cool stat, thanks for sharing. I also like the non AFC East teams we're facing.

I think we all know we also have to figure a way to sweep at least one AFC East opponent and to avoid being swept by any. But a favorable schedule always helps.

Seen an interesting stat.Six of Buffalo’s 16 regular season games will be against incoming head coaches (Jax., K.C., Stl., Ind., Mia.-twice). 2012 may be the year that we finally break the playoff drought.

I also believe that the Bills will make the playoffs next year. But success will be short-lived. The Bills will perform poorly again in 2013 and Gailey will be fired. Just a guess.
