You won't be disappointed. Our local World of Beers is having a Southern Tier night next Tuesday. 7 brews on tap including the Pumpking, IPA and Double IPA. Can't wait! Few of my Faves: - Dogfish Head 60 min IPA (and obviously their 120 min) - Stone IPA - Saranac IPA Please divulge! Picked up a 'growler' of Long Trail Double IPA. I will let you know....... hic.... Did two growlers of Pumpkin Spice IPA since the football season started. Very different and deceivingly easy to consume in mass quantity. 2 miles from my house... Once you get addicted to hops you move on to the imperials and double/triple IPAs. Good call. I recently burned myself out on Octoberfests and my last 3 6er's have been Southern Tier 2xIPA. Great tasting beer with a surprisingly high ABV. That 8.2 will sneak up on you! Another good strong IPA is Titan IPA 7.1 ABV and great tasting. There are several breweries out there that regardless of the style of beer, you can't go wrong. Among them: Avery Bell's Lagunitas Leinenkugel's Sierra Nevada I've heard a lot about Pliny the elder but haven't been able to find it in Charlotte.
