I have no problem with him picking the Patriots 35-21 but don't give me the Bills passing defense has been great so far, the Bills have focused on the power run game so far. At least get it right.

In the 2nd game we passed 46 times to ran 25. Give me a break with the power run game talk.

I just don't understand how their are people that try to write things when they have no clue.

And this is what the idiot predicted week one...

Prediction: Kansas City 42, Buffalo 7

If the Chiefs must play without Cassel, I reserve the right to change this prediction considerably. With Cassel, no matter the Chiefs struggles during the preseason, Kansas City is head and shoulders above the Bills.

And, as one eminently wise and prescient TSW poster wrote then...

Matt Miller is brain dead. (KC 42, Bills 7 ???) If anyone thinks about citing anything written by that moron or New Era Scouting this season or for the 2012 draft, they should look back at his week one Bills prognostication after the Bills scalp the Chiefs...

Buffalo Bills 44

Kansas City Chiefs - 0

Hear me now, believe me later...

BuffTown Bills 57

New* England* Cheatriettes* 0

GO BILLSSS!!!!

"I expect to be undefeated." - Chan Gailey

19 and 0 baby!!! B-)

Unless there is something worthwhile to discuss, please don't link to a fan report to say that it sucks... It adds little value to the discussion here.

I stopped reading when it said that Buffalo has been exceptional against the pass this season. Um, 2 words... Leodis McKelvin

It seems to YE OLE that any time a team is down trodden they automatically rely on a "power running game." It's become synonymous with "piss poor offense." Obviously we've had our struggles on offense until recently so the uninformed have stuck with this. "Oh we have to write about the Bills? Uh... well they rely on the ground game... they'll need to keep it in the ground and hope to keep the score close"

Being in Michigan, YE OLE had the pleasure of getting the Lions broadcast for preseason game #4 and those ass hats said the same thing. In addition to talking about how over matched we were, they went on to say our bread and butter was really pounding that ground attack, and how we struggle getting anything going through the air. Anyone who watches a Chan Gailey offense in action, especially with the success Fitz has had over the past year knows we spread the field and sling the ball around a fair bit. No knock on Freddie, he's been stellar. But clearly the run is set up and the bread is buttered by spreading the defense out and throwing the ball to a myriad of receivers.

Yeah, alot of their articles I take with a grain of salt. They have good and bad articles. Some are more well written then others. What really pisses me off, with all this media coverage, don't you think they could cover 32 teams effectively??? I mean come on. These guys get paid only to make guesses. They don't do enough research to effectively cover a team. They only make general statements.

Yeah I got in a bit of a pissing contest around draft time with another TSW poster over Matt Miller's...um...credibility.

Seems that, when in his Walter Mitty mode, ol' Matt bills himself as a former NFL scout and founder of some entity he calls New Era Scouting - he's really just a young marketing exec and part time NFL super-fan with a couple of NFL blogs and web sites.

It amazes me that folks still cite articles - even some by 13-year-olds - as if they were written by professional sports writers with opinions to be taken seriously, without giving so much as a thought to the author's credentials.

This is the kind of garbage you get when your research for an article includes going to NFL.com and looking up team statistical rankings. #1 rushing offense, #18 passing offense, and #13 pass defense. So, according to those rankings, I'm sure he felt justified in writing what he wrote.
