Willis is the talk of the NFL now

That is the "extra" that Willis gives you over TH. He is a big name - big college stud, good comeback story and media-savy (probably from his agent).

The better he plays, the more national attention we get, the more national GAMES we get. Drew and Travis never got us a MNF game - but I bet you that Willis will.

Next year on it will be....."Willis McGahee and the Bills take on......."

Or, "....the Bills, led by Willis McGahee...."

I for one love the attention he is getting. We are watching a superstar bloom right before our eyes. Any paper you pick up there he is, ESPN or CNNSI or CBS Sportsline......McGahee is there.

Great, now we're going to give birth to a whole new generation of bandwagoners.

Only more of a reason TD needs to concentrate on upgrading the O-line.  Losman, Evans, McGahee, Euhus, Aiken, and Peters behind/with a top O-line would be killer!

WTF? We HAVE A GOOD OL! Let JMac continue to do what he is doing. Christ sakes man.

Its good in pass blocking......Run blocking it needs work.

Not to worry. TD will bring in 6 or 7 more Offensive Tackles during the next offseason.

All the answers are there. He's determined to find an entire starting line in the inexhaustable supply of Offensive Tackles of the world?

You an OT by any chance? TD LOVES you!

I'm not sure why people want to see us on prime time games. The last time we won a prime time game, my son wasn't even born yet.

what game was it? Flutie-Marino in Miami on Monday night in...1999?

Something like that. If not, it may as well be. We suck in prime time. Not only do we suck...we get our asses handed to us in embarrassing fashion. I hate playing prime time. Just hate it. When we're winning more consistently, fine. But now? No freakin' way.

With apologies to Mojo Nixon... I saw the subheading of this topic and I immediately thought of "Elvis Is Everywhere."

When I look out into your eyes out there,

When I look out into your faces,

You know what I see?

I see a little bit of Willis

In each and every one of you out there.

Let me tell you.

Wellllllll...

Willis is everywhere,

Willis is everything,

Willis is everybody,

Willis is still the King.

Man oh man What I want you to see

Is that the big W's

Inside of you and me

Willis is everywhere, man!

He's in everything.

He's in everybody.

Willis is in your jeans.

Willis is in your cheesburgers.

Willis is in Nutty Buddies!

Willis is in your mom!  <_<

He's in everybody.

He's in the young, the old,

the fat, the skinny,

the white, the black

the brown and the blue

people got Willis in them too.

Willis is in everybody out there.

Everybody's got Willis in them.

Everybody except one person that is,

Yeah, one person!

The evil opposite of Willis,

The Anti-Willis!

Anti-Willis got no Willis in him,

lemme tell ya.

Tom Brady has no Willis in him.

And Willis is in Bill Belichick

but he's trying to get out, man! He's trying to get out!

Listen up Billy Baby!

Willis is everywhere,

Willis is everything,

Willis is everybody,

Willis is still the King.

Man oh man

What I want you to see

Is that the big W's

Inside of you and me

Man, there's a lot of unexplained phenomenon

out there in the world.

Lot of things people say

What the heck's going on?

Let me tell you!

Who built the pyramids?

WILLIS!

Who built Stonehenge?

WILLIS!

Yeah, man you see guys walking down the street

pushing shopping carts,

and you think they're talking to Allah,

they're talking to themselves.

Man, no they're talking to WILLIS!

WILLIS! WILLIS!

You know whats going on in that Bermuda Triangle?

Down in the Bermuda Triangle?

Willis needs boats.

Willis needs boats.

Willis Willis Willis

Willis Willis Willis

Willis needs boats.

Aahh! The Sailing Willis!

Captain Willis!

Commodore Willis it is!

Yeah man, you know people from outer space,

people from outer space they come up to me.

They don't look like like Doctor Spock.

They don't look like Klingons,

all that Star Trek jive.

They look like Willis.

WILLIS!

Everybody in outer space looks like Willis.

Cause Willis is a perfect being.

We are all moving in perfect peace and harmony towards Willisness.

Soon all will become Willis.

Everything everywhere will be Willis.

Why do you think they call it evolution anyway?

It's really Willislution!

Willislution!

Willis is everywhere

Willis is everything

Willis is everybody

Willis is still the King.

Man oh man What I want you to see

Is that the big W's Inside of you and me.

That's right ladies and gentlemen,

The time has come!

Time has come to talk

To that little bit of Willis inside of you.

Talk to it!

Call it up!

Say "Willis, heal me!"

"Save me, Willis!"

"Make me be born again in the perfect Willis light."

That's right!

You've got that Willis inside of you

and he's talkin to you.

He says he wants you to run!

Everybody's got to run like the king!

Like the king

Get that leg going now

Get your lip too.

Not no fool Ricky Williams lip either.

Everybody!

Yeah, we're rockin' now!

Willis is with us.

He's with us and he's speaking to us.

He says "Peoples!"

"Peoples!"

"Everybody!"

"Everybody got to run!"

Willis is everywhere

Willis is everything

Willis is everybody

Willis is still the King.

Man oh man What I want you to see

Is that the big W's

Inside of you and me.

Willis is everywhere

Willis is everything

Willis is everybody

Willis is still the King.

Man oh man What I want you to see

Is that the big W's

Inside of you and me.

Willis!

i hear that. not that our o-line totally stinks but whatever you can do to upgrade there is just fine with me. personally, if it ends up that we get decent draft picks for moulds or henry or both, I say grab the best o-lineman available. the more we pick the better the chances of striking gold...and TD is more than due.

Nope - Sunday night game - Labor Day weekend of 2000. Bills beat Titans at home 17-14 under Rob Johnson.

140457[/snapback]

16-13. And one of the best games I've ever seen. The Bills were getting some payback for the "throwback" from the previous year. You know the one or two hits in each game that are celebrated and played over and over? Well, it was like that on nearly every play. I don't recall any "look at me" dances either - these hits looked like they hurt as much to deal out as they did on the receiving end. The hitting was so hard and so relentless on both sides of the ball, that Dan Patrick, Paul McGuire and Joe Theisman were eventually shocked speechless. How many times have you seen that happen?

It really was something. Thankfully, Johnson got hurt so AVP could send us home happy.

It also may have been the last time a BILLS safety picked off a pass before this season ( <_< ). Keion Carpenter in the first quarter, if memory serves.
