From LaCanfora:

Going a little bonkers here with so much going on - Steelers plan on Big Ben as their QB in 2010. Won't be calling other teams.

Well...of COURSE they are going to say that! Drive up the value. The world knows he is ripe for the taking...offers will come to them. They dont need to spend time today TRYING to unload him

That was after his original tweet said 2009, and I replied: Cool. What about 2010?

LaCanfora has about the same IQ and sources as a retarded spider monkey. For what it's worht though he might be right for once, as ESPN Insider and other sources all seem to confirm any trade is dead.

the guy is worse than the friggin crypt keeper on ESPN. It is amazing how wrong you can be and keep a job

Exactly now that LaCanfora is reporting he'll stay, means he's probably going. The Steelers are probably trying to coax an extra mid round pick out of whatever team (the Raiders) want Ben.

By the way I think this would be a big time trade for the Raiders. Yeah, they're giving up their best defender, but in order to start competing they need a competent starting QB, and Big Ben is much more than that. They also still would have a 1st round pick to take a CB to replace Asohmuga.

If anyone needed proof, LaCanfora just said "Don't rule out the Patriots drafting Tim Tebow at #22."

Want more dumb stuff said on TV today? Herman Edwards was asked to predict the surprise draft pick of the day...Herm said "Pittsburgh will draft Tim Tebow."

Earth day? More like Moron Day.

Maybe they will insist that the Steelers take Damarcus Russell off their hands as part of the deal. With no cap just like MLB, a salary dump.

It's draft day and everyone is excited and well-behaved. Then you have to ruin EVERYTHING by using the R word and then denigrating spider monkeys. FYI:

"Recent meta-analyses on primate cognition studies indicated that spider monkeys were the most intelligent New World monkeys."

Let he who is without mental flaws cast the first primate dung.
