For those who wanted McNabb but don't want Campbell

Recommended Posts

Take a look at last season's stats:

Passing Sacked Fumbles

G QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int Sack YdsL Fum FumL

McNabb 14 92.9 267 443 60.3 3553 253.8 8.0 22 10 35 264 10 3

Campbell 16 86.4 327 507 64.5 3618 226.1 7.1 20 15 43 285 11 3

Quite similar.

And, as far as lack of confidence in Campbell "winning big", remember that McNabb played in 4 NFC Championship games and won only one.

Campbell is younger by 5 years and you may possibly get him for a 4th, while it took a 2nd to get McNabb.

And the team that has Campbell still wanted McNabb. That should say something.

That's their decision. Their owner and new head coach are banking on getting success with the aging Pro Bowl QB.

If the Bills had Campbell, would you have been asking for McNabb??

Yes. 25-32 as a starter. Means the Bills would probably be about where they are right now.

Not similar. McNabb threw 2 more TD's, 5 less INTs, took 8 less sacks. And W-L is drastically different.

Jason Campbell is a good football player. I would be quite happy if we landed him. A 4th is a fair price.

McNabb had Jason Peters protecting him. How he took any sakcs when Peters was blocking the whole other team's defense is a mystery. MCNabb is done if he could win with JP at LT!
