  1. Bob the Builder has just endorsed McCain/Palin. Barney the Dinosaur is withholding his endorsement until Palin clarifies allegations that she accused dinosaurs of eating humans.
  2. All his answers to followup questions show who he supports. He also said that he wants to privatize Social Security and thought McCain won the debate. He's free to think what he wants, but it's obvious who he supports. Why not just come out and say it. Palin is already using him in her stump speech. By the way, the average plumber nationally makes about $45k a year. So if he's anywhere except in the extreme high end of that group, he would get a tax cut under Obama.
  3. A look at a Palin presidency (click on all the different images in the picture with sound on): http://palinaspresident.com/

  5. I just saw Joe the Plumber being interviewed. He's sounded like a shill for the Republicans. He's tired of people putting down America and thinks we should be proud that we went into Iraq. He wants America to remain a democracy and not become a socialist society. How soon before he shows up at a McPain rally?
  6. Why wouldn't you take the risk? If you don't make 250k profit from the company, you're not going to see any tax increase, so there was no increased risk or loss of profits. If you are making 250k+ in profits, then you're still making out OK even with a return to Clinton era tax rates. And you'll get a tax break for every new job created in the first two years. And you won't be paying the tax that McCain wants to impose on employer based health care.
  7. I believe Robert Englund (Freddie from Nightmare on Elm Street) was a wimpy Visitor who became friends with the humans.
  8. If you're making enough that you can buy your own company and still make more than $250k off of it, you're doing pretty good in these economic conditions. People did quite well under the tax rates during the Clinton years, which is what they'd go back to, and they'll do quite well again. It's time that those who don't make that much get a break after trickle down economics once again failed to deliver as promised. Those at the top did pretty good at preventing leaks so nothing trickled down to American workers.
  9. You can DVR and watch both, or use picture-in-picture.
  10. Especially if they let Sarah drive the Straight Talk Express.
  11. I wouldn't do it. Addai is dinged up, and you'd be shorthanded if he goes out again.
  12. I think you have to make the odds Obama -5. If the polls get within 5 points, then there's a chance McCain could win due to the Bradley effect.
  13. He must be spending too much time reading the poll numbers. Maybe he'll resign and Bush will replace him with Palin so she can pad her resume.
  14. If she wasn't charged, then any alledged evidence you refer to is speculative and hearsay. I'm sure Vince Foster's death would be brought up also. Throw all the mud and hope something sticks.
  15. Oh no you didn't just call Obama a "boy", did you? And what are the right wingers asking from McCain? Keep talking about these fringe issues most voters don't care about, and keep watching McCain's poll numbers drop. I understand he can't win on the issues, but is this the best he has left?
  16. She broke the law? What was she charged with? Did she serve time or was there a plea bargain? Interesting that your information comes from a website that also sells a Hillary toilet bowl brush.
  17. Why does he need a transition team to go back to the Senate? Can't they just pin a note to his jacket with instructions for the cabbie on where to drop him off?
  18. Clarence Thomas proved that skeletons in the closet don't keep you off the court. I'd prefer her becoming Senate Majority Leader.
  19. No suprise, Palin faced a chorus of boos throughout the ceremony. They played music the whole time to try and cover it without success. I like the Obama/Biden sign in the backround. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7TgDanmWkg&eurl=
  20. I'm beginning to think that McCain and the Repubs know he's going to lose, and at this point they figure they'll just try to motivate the conservative voters with anger so they come out and vote in congressional races to try and minimize their losses in the Congress. In the next debate I'd like Obama to go up and chestbump McCain and say, "I'm right here, look me in the eyes and say it to my face, bee-yaach!"
  21. But if you're so confident, it's not a gamble, it's a certainty. Give his money to charity if you don't want it.
  22. The Philadelphia Flyers decision to invite self-described hockey mom Sarah Palin to drop the ceremonial first puck at the team's home opener on Saturday night is prompting head-scratching in the worlds of sports and politics. For Republicans, who are clinging to diminishing hopes that Palin and her running mate, John McCain, can carry Pennsylvania, a less-than-warm welcome from the notoriously unruly Philly fans could be embarrassing to the GOP ticket. A cascade of boos for Palin might also prove to be a PR nightmare for the Flyers, reinforcing yet again Philly fans reputation for boorishness, and focusing unwanted attention on the motives of the teams managing partner, big GOP donor Ed Snider. "I don't think it is a good idea to mix politics and sports. Half the fans will disagree with what you say or do", said Ted Leonsis, owner of the Washington Capitals, a conference rival of the Flyers. Leonsis, who in the primary gave maximum contributions to both Palin's running mate and his Democratic rival Barack Obama, said if he invited a candidate in a looming election to appear at a Caps-related event, I would be sure to give both sides equal time. And he added, "I am surprised that the candidate would go on the ice in Philly". Philly fans threw snowballs at Santa Claus and booed Beyonce because she was wearing a Michael Jordan dress. This is dangerous territory. (Flyer owner Ed) Snider and his wife have given nearly $90,000 to federal candidates and causes, mostly Republican, including $25,000 to McCain's joint fundraising committee. But Saturday's puck-drop is not political, according to Flyers officials, who issued a statement in which Snider explained, "because of the tremendous amount of publicity she has brought to our sport, we invited the most popular hockey mom in North America to our home opener to help us get our season started." Ike Richman, a spokesman for Comcast-Spectacor, would not say whether the Flyers planned to invite Obama or his running mate Joe Biden, who represents nearby Delaware (a hotbed of Flyer fandom), to similar events. But he said Palin's appearance "does not mean that we support or do not support their political views. This is all about hockey." Sure. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1008/14462.html Read another story of a hockey mom who countered Palin by making and selling "Hockey mama for Obama" bumper stickers.
  23. So a friend and appointee of Reagan founded an organization that hired a domestic terrorist. So Reagan was a friend to a terrorist sympathizer. Isn't that how the guilt by association works? If Reagan was still alive, Bush would have arrested him for aiding a terrorist cause.
  24. Zombies in Chicago are going to get zombie JFK elected again? Maybe Sarah Palin is right, it's the End of Days!
