I would only go after Freeney if that meant they got VJax too. If their one big signing would be Freeney, I say no, go get that top WR AND a DE that does not cost as much (and younger)

I still think this guy can turn into something VERY positive for the Bills. There is just something about him and I actually expect bigger things than last year.

I think it would be pretty sweet to have Manning go to Miami or the Jets just for the sake of the games vs NE. Maybe Buffalo will get their guy in 2013.....It will be interesting to see if Fitz bounces back as I think it is do or die for him this year.

This is worth it for the two Jets games alone. This makes FA and the draft MUCH more interesting. If they can grab another top rated WR or DE in FA, then draft an Lineman, LB or DE in the first, good things should be expected for 2012/2013

I agree it's unlikely but I truly think THIS FA needs to be one where getting to the QB is a priority. Get one in FA and one in the draft - everything else falls into place.....

The reason I even bring up DB is because his butt is already here getting interviewed and I don't think he would be that costly - seems like it could be good value.. As far as WR, I guarantee one the top 5 guys will be there in the 2nd and it is a VERY deep draft for WR.

Salary Cap might shoot this down as I am not sure of what all the numbers would be BUT it does not seem that difficult to make the jump to playoffs with a few simple moves. Get one of the top 2 DE's in FA and overpay (Williams, Avril). If this means not re-signing Stevie and throwing more money at Williams, so be it Sign the DB who is here today (Routt) Draft either top top DE/WR/Tackle in first round. If they can get Williams or Avril, I would still go after top DE or OLB Draft seems to be loaded with WRs that would be great bargains in the 2nd round I know QB is STILL the missing piece and without that, true contender status will not be reached. For now though, it seems that between the DEs and WRs in both FA and the draft, it lines up perfectly for this team. Fill out the line with 3rd round or others (unless there is an elite tackle there at the 10 spot. Bottom line, I think this is a VERY important free agency period for this team.

Trent Dilfer was on Sportcenter last night saying that if Nick Foles had any sort of team around him, he wold have been rated higher than Bradford when he came out. Don't know anything about Foles but it was interesting to hear. He said the kid has got everything you need to be a NFL QB with the only knock being (not the biggest arm in the biz)

I agree with this but at the same time, BPA is going to be pointing to a WR when all is said and done. The line can be fixed in later rounds and unless there is a franchise LT available at 10, WR should be the pick. I also don't see a big time difference making LB at #10 as of now.

Why in the world would you want his attitude to change on the Bills? They are the most pathetically run organization in the league and to be honest, it feels good to hear exactly what I think about those idiots behind the curtain.

I think there is nothing worse than an easier schedule with no personality teams 1) No excitement in the stands 2) The smokescreen Bills will win 6-8 games against teams that blow - thus pushing off the franchise QB yet another year

Fine with me, I won't pretend to know which one is better. Big, physical playmaking receiver is all i want.

Merriman does not even exist on this team as far as I am concerned. As far as Williams, I have no doubt he will be 100%.
