Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
3rdnlng replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Can't tell if you are being facetious or not. What experience does Michelle have that would actually qualify her to be president? If that is what you are considering as qualifications for president then I nominate Carrie Underwood. She's not only better looking but can also sing. -) -

What qualifications does she have to put her that close to becoming president? -
You don't make your own?

Trump is taking away food stamps from people by pushing policies that raise the economic fortunes of those on food stamps to the level that makes them no longer qualified for food stamps. Wage increases are not fueled by the raising of minimum wage. As an example Walmart (in NYS) is presently offering $13.75 an hour for raw rookies to come to work for them. By the end of this year that will be $15.00 an hour. NYS minimum wage is $11.80 per hour in most areas. Obviously in WNY the state minimum wage is not what has caused wages to go up. -
Down Ballot Democrats Nervous About Sanders

There are a few exceptions but generally those of us on the conservative side will at least listen to the libs and their mouthpieces, if only to mock them. Liberals are the least tolerant people I know. Conservatives have much more open minds. -

Be careful what you ask for. We here at PPP pay the price for virtually no moderation by having to put up with pond scum and nuts. -

Harvey Weinstein, when told he was going to be sent to a pound in the ass prison broke down and pleaded with the judge not to throw him in the briar patch. -

Just another instance of Republicans pouncing. -
I wonder what they did with all the monkeys? I suggest no one even acknowledges that nut.

I would think that this virus for you would be like going to the comedy club. So many people are dying you may need stitches for the stitches in your side from laughter.

https://www.gopusa.com/?p=85204?omhide=true Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez described the fatal stabbing of Barnard College freshman Tessa Majors by three teenage muggers as a “tragedy on multiple levels” affecting all involved. “You have the horrific tragedy of a young woman’s life being taken and so much potential,” the freshman member of Congress said Saturday in a Q&A after a Queens town hall meeting on the census. “But then you have a tragedy of a young boy that was driven to that point, taken to that point. And I think that tragedy is also one of inter-generational poverty, potentially a broken home, a lack of opportunity.” Majors, 18, was killed during a Dec.11 robbery in Harlem’s Morningside Park. Three teen-age suspects were arrested for her killing. Rashaun Weaver, the 14-year-old who allegedly stabbed Majors so hard that feathers flew from her down jacket, was charged as an adult and faces two counts of second-degree murder. A second 14-year-old suspect, along with a 13-year-old youth, were also arrested in the killing of the first-year student from Virginia. Ocasio-Cortez said she wasn’t sure if the accused teens belonged behind bars, and suggested societal issues were at play.

Comrade Bernie, as the good communist that he is, wants to ban fracking and pipelines in the U.S. in order to help Russia regain their energy market share. No wonder they are colluding with each other regarding the 2020 election. -

He can't legalize it on his own, you idiot. All he can do is direct federal officers to ignore the law. -

Well, we do know that he's been colluding with Russia.

I 'd ask if you are serious but why bother? Odds are 50/50 that you will post something extremely ignorant rather than just simply ignorant every time you post. China has 4.25 times the population than we do. If communism was better than capitalism then their economy would be 4.25 times better or more than our economy. Please, go crawl back under your rock.

Russia's economy is about the size of Texas and it's based on gas & oil. If not for nukes no one would give them a thought. China on the other hand................................... -

That was a major gripe when I lived outside of LA---no matter what I did there were 100,000 other people doing the same thing. I'd go up into the San Gabriels to do a little trout fishing and it was fairly secluded there but it was a drive. I really enjoyed it when we moved to the Ventura/Santa Barbara area. Plenty of things to do and of course the weather was perfect.
