There's definately going to be a degree of loyalty to their local product but Mallett has a big arm. He needs to improve this year though. I'll be looking to see more consistency and more polish to his game. We're likely to have a poor record this year and therefore a high pick QB is likely. I'll be looking at Mallett, Luck, Locker, and Ponder all year. Should be an exciting race for top QB honors.

Best player available, best playmaker available. It was a luxury pick though, as we needed a QB and LT more. But with the injuries to Jackson and Lynch, this pick looks genius. As if they could see into the future, lol. The spotlight is on Spiller, now more than ever.

Playing Madden (although I wish it was 2K) is a great way to escape the crappyness of our team. In Madden, we go undefeated and win the Super Bowl every year.

I wanted him at 9. When he was amazingly still on the board when our 2nd pick came around, I was shocked and disappointed we didn't grab him. That would've been a steal and made our draft better. A top-ten talent in the 2nd round at a reasonable price.

He's only 22. I haven't givin up..... yet. He'll still see the field, buffalorumblings.com speculated he would rotate in and out on a rather frequent basis. He'll be eased into it and there will be patience so long as he shows at least some improvement. He's got talent and ability, he just needs good coaching of the fundamentals and an understanding of schemes and plays.

I didn't know this. I've been away for a few months, work was busy and the NFL offseason is boring once the draft ends. Sad to see her go. She offerred great commentary and insight on all things Bills. Some of the bad apples here definately make it tough, but for the most part it's pretty good here. Although I could do without some of the needless bashing and internet tough guy attitudes people have here. It's sometimes hard to believe that despite joining here because we all love the Bills, we can hate on each other as much as we do. Not to mention most of us are (legally) adults.

I'm not even remotely convinced that this team can generate a pass rush. I'm legitimately concerned.

WTF? One the one hand I see why, he needs to be in Camp if he wants to be on this team. But on the other, he's a proven player who is one of the few people we have who actually get to the QB. Check that, he's the only one who can! It is what it is.
