  1. Marv brought in Craig Nall to actually compete for the starting job because he felt that Nall was ready to take the next step only to turn around and draft Edwards. Then you have Royal, another Marv FA signing and we still don't have a tight end worth anything.
  2. I couldn't agree more. We are in desperate need of a stud WR on this team and Devin Thomas looks to me like the best available. Bringing an athlete like DT into our offense could open things up tremendously for LE, Roscoe, and the running game. IMO, there's no question that DT is our pick at 11.
  3. Hind sight is 20/20. But I felt then that a run stuffing DT was an urgent need for us. In all honesty though, at the time I wanted either Ngata OR Bunkley. So far it looks like Ngata was a FAR better pick. I think Jauron favored a safety because that's his background and I pray that he doesn't go with a DB again with the first round pick.
  4. I wanted Ngata in the worst way, I thought that pick was a no-brainer. I was shocked that we went with a safety at #8.
  5. Yeah but does he give a damn about beautifying Buffalo?
  6. The April 9-15th issue of USA Today Sports Weekly has Devin Thomas ranked as the 14th overall draft prospect. It's our biggest need. I think he will eventually be a true #1 WR and will add instant impact to our O even if initially as a #3. He could also be used on special teams. IMO this guy is a great athlete with tremendous potential. SOOO... With the 11th pick in the '08 draft, the Buffalo Bills select...........Devin Thomas WR Michigan State!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BILLS!!!
  7. I agree. I need the draft. I'm like a heroin addict in a methadone clinic. I NEED MY FIX!!!!!!!!
  8. I think that WR is clearly the biggest need for the Bills right now. Since they didn't address this need in FA, I think they must draft the best available WR with the first round pick. USA Today Sports Weekly has Devin Thomas ranked the #1 overall WR and I agree with their assessment. I think this guy has great potential and would vastly improve our offense. The only drawback with drafting him at 11 would be that his salary would be slotted accordingly and that could be costly in terms of extending Lee Evans. The same issue of USA today SW has D Thomas listed as the 20th OVERALL prospect in the draft. Should we try to move down and risk him not being there? At this point I say no. Take DT at 11. I think that he is clearly the best available and I don't like the knocks on the rest of the projected 1st round WR's. GO BILLS!!!!
  9. Wow! One thousand and ten percent true. That's like way more than 100%. You really are an expert.
  10. The more I read, the more it looks to me like Devin Thomas is our guy.
  11. I caught that game too and agree with your comments. To this day, people make comments about Edwards only putting up FG's in that game, but 2 things stood out to me. First, Marshawn (and I like him very much) had a pitiful game. He had 20 carries for 66 yards as well as two inexcusable pass drops on third down. The second thing was the play calling, run, run, and pass on third and medium. Good riddance Fairchild!!!!
  12. Reminds me of one: Why do women have two pair of lips? So they can piss and moan at the same time.
  13. Time will tell if DRC lives up to the hype that is currently surrounding him. Right now it's all speculation. That's what makes it fun. I can't wait for the draft to get here!
  14. 1. Would you agree that WR is the biggest need for the Bills? 2. Who do you think are the 2 best WR's available in the draft?
  15. I also wouldn't want to see us take a corner in the first round. Ideally I would like to see us trade down for an extra pick and get Mich. State's Devin Thomas.
  16. Yes, I would have to say that the level of competition he played against would affect my decision.
  17. There are exceptions to every rule. DRC may become a good NFL starter, but I'm saying that taking him at 11 overall is too high.
  18. That's pretty much my opinion on DRC as well. The 11th pick is too high for a guy that didn't even play 1-A.
  19. The fact that it's UB and a scrimmage. Other than that, it's a GREAT football fix. Thanx for waisting 120 seconds of my life.
  20. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Oh wait, That would be the Cincinnati Bengals roster.
