Intrigue. What does this mean. Lee Smith active over Kroft??
Gameplan specific....Bills said who play and who doesn't is based on week to week matchups

Saints aren't playing with a QB either. I'm starting Hinton as a WR in fantasy and idc.
Who the hell is Hinton???

No there was no option to delay the game...that is done strictly for medical reasons not because thr team does dumb stuff.

I try not to call out play calling but cmon. 3rd and short just line up and run straight.
A QB draw to the short side of the field running at Bosa?
They were hoping he overpursued the RB to the inside and left his gap vacated.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Tremaine Edmunds father go to the probowl twice in the late 80’s early 90’s as a dolphin?
He did in 1989 and 1990...but does 31 catches for 400 yards scare anyone?

Couldn't ask for a better start than that...well maybe minus the very rare illegal formation penalty on the kickoff

I started comparing QB stats and came across Dan Marino. I’d say he sort of had an interesting career stat wise - tremendous success early in his career, and NFL record for TD passes, and a Super Bowl appearance.
For the rest of his career he put up very great numbers (though never as good as his first few seasons) but he never reached another Super Bowl. Not only that but he only reached an AFC Championship Game one other time in 1993.
All of this, yet Marino is still regarded as one of the best QB’s of all time and has the stats to make the argument. Yet he had very limited success in terms of sustained post season success. Miami was always a 10 or 11 win team under Marino, who occasionally won a Wildcard game, but barely got further than that.
While I only followed his career occasionally, Im wondering why Marino didn’t achieve more success? Was he a QB that just didn’t deliver in big games when he needed to? Was Don Shula living on his past laurels from the 1970’s? Or did the Miami organization not put enough talent around him?
I also wonder if the Bills success during his prime derailed his chances to succeed (much like the Patriots of the past 20 years or so). From what I can remember, every time it mattered the Bills and Jim Kelly beat Dan Marino - including 3 times in the playoffs.
They had no running game at all...so late in games when they needed to burn clock and run the ball they couldn't. That puts a lot of stress on the QB.
In some ways they were designed to attack weaknesses of other teams being built to defend the run so much during that era and take advantage of matchups but in other ways they weren't good enough to do that as well as they could have been. They had no real TE threat.
And to answer your question, a large part was the Bills were simply a better team top to bottom than the Dolphins were. More HOF caliber players and more talent.

Thursday and Friday are irrelevant for contact tracing.
The guy who tested positive had the swab collected Weds. and the result was reported early AM on Thurs - I think they get the results at 4:30 am or something like that. The guy who tested positive never walked in the door on Thurs.
So any contacts had to have occurred on Weds - but they weren't reporting on the results until Saturday afternoon, when they sent the 3 QBs home?
That's bogus. The way it's supposed to work is you get a positive result and you know who the contacts are right away, within hours - like when the Bills found out on Saturday am that Knox had tested positive on Friday, and within hours identified and isolated the close contacts, or a similar timeframe with Norman and his contacts.
You could say the same thing about the Ravens and about the Titans, and yet...games were rescheduled or delayed
Different circumstances. Those teams were having positive tests day after day...
This situation is due to contact tracing not positive tests.

That’s silly. If a team’s players act a fool, they deserve to deal with the repercussions. The Bills have managed this well and it has clearly been demonstrated for the vast majority of the season.I mean do the Broncos have anyone but themselves to blame? They had all the QBs near each other without masks and without tracking devices much if the time.

Better than most people down there who are just spreading COVID 😷

So at - 5 1/2 most of the public pundits are all in on the Bills. The line always seemed to be lower than expected-- at 538 Bills are deemed 9 point favorites. But now the line has been driven down to 4 1/2 to 4. Why is so much money pouring in on a 3-7 LAC team? Sharpies seem to think they know something, but what is it?
Chargers lose a lot of one score games.

At the current rate the NFL is becoming the pro college league, lots of offense and not nearly enough defense. But what are ya gonna do, College ball is where the players come from, so ya get what ya get.
Just like in Pinkalicious...

Elway said they are used to playing with no QB at this point
no he didn’t but I did
It would be hilarious if Elway suited up for them tomorrow...I mean technically he is on the team and wouldn't have to go through testing...

First of all, Id be PISSED if I was a Denver fan after how the league has moved games for other teams.
Second, this is why Jake Fromm is on the roster and basically in isolation.
The games are moved for medical reasons NOT personnel reasons.

Finished with 409 yards...2nd alltime to Samaje Perine's 427...

I hear Marrone will be in need of a job soon...more Pinstripe Bowls to look forward to!

It is insanity!! 103 carries for 896 yards and 16 TDs...in 4 games!!!

Her first kickoff left a pot to be desired haha

This dude is unreal! After running for 301 yards and setting the UB record, he follows it up with an 8!!! TD day and shatters his own record with 385 yards and counting!!

I think Daboll needs to show a lot more before he sniffs a HC job.
Let's not forget, defense isn't played all that much in today's NFL.
Being a good OC/DC has really nothing to do with being a good HC. Completely different skill sets.

you could say the same about RW for the most part other than late 80's to late 90's Kind of interesting both from Detroit, must be in the water.
He's not alone. So far Flores looking like the exception, but need to see more than one year of success too.
Bills had some good teams in the late 70s/early 80s.
Also the AFL Bills won championships.
But mostly correct.

Yea you are draft deficient in year 1 but you inherit a roster with a top 5 QB and only one other player who you are "stuck with" in Tunsil. It is a pretty blank sheet of paper. I'd try and re-sign Fuller if I could but beyond that you can build it up with your own guys.
I agree...and Watson is younger than the other QBs. Missing picks in your first draft isn't ideal but should be able to overcome it relatively quickly...
Atlanta has some offensive talent but Ryan is getting up there in age.

No. They beat the Cowboys in 1991. Still, their modern era history is dismal.
Yeah I was just about to correct that...they have won 1 playoff game since 1957...

Poor Stafford.
I mean all in all it's a plus that this coach and GM are on the way out, but Stafford now gets to see what scheme and players the next coach needs 2-3 years to install.
Not necessarily.

This is a long-time organizational problem.
The Lions have sucked my whole life and I'm 53 years old.
This is a Ford family issue. Not a GM or HC issue. Always has been always will be.
They have won 1 playoff game since 1957. I don't even know how that is possible.

Why not just do it? I cook all my own meals (excepting the occasional meal out). It's a fun skill to develop and you will only make you enjoy. Get a freazer and meal prep!
My wife normally cooks healthy meals every day but she isn't a chef, nor does she have the time and energy to put the effort into making fancier types of meals that you would normally get from a chef along with various new twists, etc thst only s true chef could do well...
I am a very good cook when I want to be...it was a great skill to have when I was single and I would invite women over for a home cooked meal...and then they brought dessert 😉

Bills following Dolphins plan of bringing pressure and confusing Herbert...he is looking very jittery and unsure right now...his feet are not set properly when he is throwing.
