No they won’t lol. No one is trading anything for Ramsey to pay him $25M next year. They will renegotiate or get the Dolphins to eat contract.

This is like when everyone said the Bills shouldn’t trade for Davante because he was gonna cost $35M and the Jets paid $11M.

I'm still out...as Vontae Davis(RIP) once told Tre and Shady "It's a young man's game boo...I just ain't got it no more...you'll see one day".  Ramsey's day is coming real soon.

The numbers are absurd, my favourite record is 50 goals in 39 games lol.

Lemieux was the only player who had a legit shot at all Gretzky’s records if not for a bad back and cancer, he was amazing.

Another absurd thing? Gretzky AVERAGED 143 points per season over his career.

Only 9 other players in the history of the NHL have even had a 143 point season, and only Lemieux with 4 and Esposito with 2 have more than 1 of them outside of Gretzky who had 10.

So essentially only 9 other players could even accomplish a single time what Gretzky averaged over 20 years.  Mind blowing.

He’s not the most talented goal scorer the NHL has ever seen, he just passed a guy(Gretzky) who openly admitted to not being close to the most talented goal scorers.

Ovi has like 120 more power play goals than Gretzky, one timers on a goalie sliding from side to side with a man advantage.

Ovi is a more talented goal scorer than Gretzky, even 99 would openly admitted to that, but there’s other NHL players you’re taking in a shootout before Ovi, can you argue he has the most dangerous one timer ? Absolutely

Gretzky was so good that it was like he was playing with 12 year old kids on the ice.  If he wanted to score 1200-1300 goals, he easily could have.

He was more of a setup man, going thru 2 or 3 players and then dishing it off to teammates to set them up for goals.

He is almost 1000 points clear of the next closest player for his career. That's absurd.

What's even MORE absurd is that Gretzky's 1963 assists are more than any other player has points (goals + assists). Jagr is in 2nd place with 1921 points. Then add on 894 goals for Gretzky as well.

His assists and points record are so far and above the next closest player, those will never be even approached.

Still the only player to ever have more than 200 points in a season, which he did 4 times, and had 150+ points 9 times. The only other player to do it more than once was Mario Lemiuex who did it 4 times.

Ovi isn’t the greatest goal scorer of all time, he was able to score a lot of goals for a very long time, he’s proven to be the most consistent goal scorer over a long time. It’s an amazing accomplishment but there’s been more skilled goal scorers, even Gretzky recognized many players who were more skilled goal scorers than himself while he was playing.

Heck, Auston Matthews is on pace to break 894 goals in 9 years and be only 36yrs old compared to Ovi doing it at 39yrs of age.

The man has scored 40+ goals 14 times which is the most in NHL history, Gretzky is in 2nd place with 12 seasons.

He also is tied for the NHL lead with 9 50+ goal seasons with Gretzky and Mike Bossy.

He has also led the NHL in Goals 9 separate seasons.

I'm not sure if you are trying to split hairs, but that level of production is very rare.

Let's not act like he did this by scoring 25 goals for his whole career. He has had elite production for the majority of his career.

nice record, but Gretzky has no peer, and its not even close

I live in the DC area, and Ovi scored a ton by burying a bunch of one timers from the top of the circle on the power play.. like hundreds of goals this way.. a little like Cook scoring a pile of TDs from inside the 10, makes the total TD count kind of misleading

The Great One is hundreds of points ahead of anyone else.. total team player.   multiple Stanley Cups , etc etc.

Ovi is kind of like a Randy Moss or Jerry Rice, amazing ability to score a ton but ....

The most impressive record is Gretzky's point and assist record. In terms of career points, Gretzky has more assists, 1963,  than the 2nd place player on the list has points(goals + assists) which is Jaromir Jagr at 1921.  That record is absurd and will likely never be broken. That's on top of his 894 goals. Essentially, if Gretzky wanted to score another 300-400 goals, he easily could have. His best talent was not scoring goals, as good as it as he was, it was setting up teammates. Gretzky is almost 1000 points ahead of the 2nd place Jagr in total points.

  6. Hard to believe this is the same guy drafted behind EJ Manuel in the 2013 draft class that was so bad on the Jets and has now parlayed it into another $43 million for 2 years.

Kudos to him tho...he looked in the mirror, realized he wasn't the person or player he wanted to be and decided to work hard to make a change and continue working hard even when it seemed like it wasn't paying off for him the first 4 years or so. He got his chance in Seattle and he has played pretty well since then.  Not elite, but pretty good.

Always like to see success stories like this...he earned it thru his actions when it was so easy to go the Manziel way.

So last year scoring, the Lions, Bill and Ravens were top 3.

Did it feel hard to score for us last year to you guys? We basically did it without a field stretcher. How will it feel to you all if we did it again, TOP 3. Without a true viable field stretcher on the team? How do we continue moving forward with THIS team on offense with the WR/HB/TE combination we have on the team now, or do we still need a EDGE WR to stretch this field this year?

Just a question to you folks. This may of been covered in other topics... just wanted to read more direct answers to this topic.

    Thanks.

Hard to score? What games were you watching if you thought that?

There were a few times they needed to get revved up, but basically once they got in rhythm they scored just about every possession until the end of the game afterwards.
