Question for you Astrobot. Bennett seems to be flying up draft boards. Before the combine Davis was the clear cut favorite as far as pass catching TE's were concerned. Why the change?

He's projected to go as high as 20 to Tampa or slip to early 2nd round. That's what I've seen in most mocks

From Pat Kirwan Jenkins came into the winter as the top corner prospect but the game tapes exposed his poor tackling. If a team is playing man coverage or wants to incorporate more man into their scheme, Jenkins is an excellent candidate. He may struggle early against great route runners and three-man patterns that cause him to key and diagnose. His concentration can be challenged according to a few college coaches I spoke with that played against him. He will get picked on as a rookie and he needs to improve his game while getting challenged. Draft projection: Round 1.

i don't know if I consider this good news at all. What if WE are the team with those rankings and take Jenkins at 11. I would get ill.

I don't want to get into the B. Johnson thing, but I totally agree. So what if he played for one year and left. he would have played hard to prove himself, and if he left THEN we go after a stud WR in next year's draft while going to beef up the lines or secondary.

That's the perfect draft IMO. I'd take Davis over Keller and I would be absolutely ecstatic.

Yea, but everything is speculation at this point. No team is going to announce to the media their intentions and what deals they are working on. Even without Lito, I would take the extra 2nd and move to 19

Even if it isn't Albert I could see the Eagles trading up for Clady, Otah, or Williams.

If we can draft a WR at 19, I prefer Sweed actually, and get Lito, then we would have a proven NFL CB who goes against TO and Plax every year, TWICE! He would be the upgrade at a position of need AND we get the WR we most covet. then go TE in round 2 and this team with be a force next year

I think Dustin Keller isn't really a true tight end, and lacks good size in the NFL. I think that, although we need a pass catcher at TE, that the Bills will also stress that he is a decent blocker as well

If we got an additional second we could get a top notch WR, CB, and TE on the first day. That would be amazing

The Delaware County Times believes the Eagles would like to trade up to No. 11 to select Virginia OL Brandon Albert. The Bills would then select Michigan St. WR Devin Thomas with the No. 19 pick. Philadelphia has 11 draft picks and veteran CB Lito Sheppard to dangle as trade bait, but this particular scenario smacks of idle beat writer musing.
