  1. That's great news. I think he'd be a good pickup, if only to bolster depth and return ability.
  2. No way they wait until 41 to draft a WR. IF they don't take one at 11, then I could see them tradng back into the 1st round OR trading down to start
  3. We brought in McCree, James, Carr, signed Scott. The only WR we talked to Bryant Johnson. While these DB's they are bringing in are by no means phenomenal, they do shore up some depth if added. That being said we haven't addressed WR at all. There is no reason to think we won't draft a WR now, they aren't even attempting to pursue one anymore in FA
  4. since he is considered restricted, what would we have to give up?
  5. chris brown of bb.com just confirmed the chris carr visit. Man gordong is good!
  6. I'd like to draft both a big WR and a pass catching TE
  7. Not sure if you're allowed to bring a car onto the field. lol, good find
  8. Malcolm Kelly seems to be the favorite around here as far as who we should take with the 11 pick if we take a WR. Sweed had a wrist injury, not a leg, knee, cartilage, elbow, etc. Is the reason he is talked about less due to the fact he was hurt? In my honest opinion, I think he has a better head on his shoulders and a more proven track record. I say we take Sweed 11!!!!
  9. Do you think that when he talks up a player like Devin Thomas or Red Bryant, it's because he does the research, he likes them and it's his opinion? Or, do you think he hears these guys names from people within the Bills organization and puts it out there?
  10. Scout.com's Adam Caplan reports the Panthers and WR D.J. Hackett have reached agreement on a two-year, $3.5 million contract. While Hackett has dealt with injuries, he's been highly productive when healthy and is only 26. In Carolina, he becomes the top candidate to start opposite Steve Smith with Muhsin Muhammad likely working from the slot. Dwayne Jarrett will compete with Ryne Robinson to be the fourth receiver. Hackett has vertical and red-zone ability and should draw some attention away from Smith. His addition is good news for all Panthers skill players besides Jarrett. Expect solid WR3/4 numbers if Hackett starts.
  11. That's a great stat! 2 drops! I think he'd be a steal. We have speedsters, we need a big, physical receiver, and I think he fits the bill
  12. I'd take him in the 3rd, maybe even the 2nd. Look at Colston. He wasn't a high draft pick, and he has the same measurables. Not the speed you want, but the height and size. I feel like if you have enough size, you can bully DB's and get balls you wouldn't be able to if you weren't as big
  13. Well if that;s the case with Boldin and Colston, then what is the problem with him? No one ever mentions him
  14. The guy is 6'4", 220 and has had a great college career. Is it just due to his 40 times that he isn't mentioned, or is he not that good? anyone?
  15. I love Bowman. I was surprised by his 40 times, but I wouldn't mind him coming to the Bills. He seems like a 3rd or 4th rounder. He had a great year at OSU this year and last year as well. he definitely has the size and height we are looking for
  16. All of that would require an INSANE amount of money, all of which we don't have. No way they would ever think about doing that.
  17. I go back and forth on what we should take with the #11 by the minute. But the more I think about it, I don't think DE should be taken first. While there are some great prospects out there, I think with the addition of Stroud and Johnson, it will free up SChobel and Kelsay, allowing them easier access to the QB. I don't want to reach at #11 either, which is why trading down could be the best option if we could get someone like Hardy, Sweed, of Kelly, maybe even Thomas
  18. what scares me a little about thomas is that he has only had one good year in college. Kelly, Sweed, and Hardy are all bigger prospects who can go up and grab the ball. Not sure if I'm sold on Thomas, and definitely not at 11
