  1. Does that even make sense, man? Why would the Broncos trade Cutler for an unestablished QB and picks? I know they may move him, but not for a guy like Edwards in the package
  2. You're dead on. Those four picks are way more valuable and way more cheap than Curry. This isn't even worth discussing.
  3. I think the article is discounting him a little much due to the fact that it doesn't look like Miami is going to sign him. I think you look at a guy like Derrick Mason in Baltimore. He's a smaller, quick, tough veteran receiver that is very valuable to them. Coles can certainly be productive and useful here.
  4. I kept thinking Coles would ultimately return to the Jets (he left on very good terms, considering their differences in the past). But now my gut is telling me that's not an option. I think with Ryan, they are turning over a new leaf. They have spent money on Bart Scott and Lito Sheppard. They still need to do something about QB. So if money matters (and I'm sure it does), I think we still have a very good chance.
  5. But I don't think that's a good thing. Warner does not fit here.
  6. I have no problem with anything Fred Taylor said. He's a classy player. His answers to the questions were classy. He did not make any disparaging remarks about Buffalo. People here are very sensitive.
  7. I have no desire to bring Kurt Warner here. He was a disaster in New York behind an O-Line that was better than ours. And Warner was even three years younger then. It would be a HUGE mistake.
  8. No, the Minneapolis Tribune makes no mention of the Bills. It's just the Buffalo Rumblings site that says the Bills are interested. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I'm just saying that this site's report is no different than someone on this site saying Birk would be a good fit for the Bills.
  9. That site does not even link us to him. It says that his agent has been in touch with a few teams and the sight speculates that the Bills would be one of those teams (because we need a center).
  10. Good. I'm sick of seeing him near the goaline.
  11. Since he was drafted, he never stood out to me
  12. We have fans over-reacting like this every year. Case in point, last year everyone was whining until they up and signed Kawika Mitchell mid-afternoon. And then we traded for Stroud. And everyone was happy. Just chill out.
  13. It's been really messed up for a few days, but Florio was saying if it happened we should follow him on Sporting News. That has been OK, but it hasn't been updated for at least an hour now
  14. I've thought about this. Seriously, why not? Just throw too much money his way, sell him on the idea that we've been losers for 9 years and we're turning to him to change the attitude of the team. Maybe it wouldn't be the best football decision in the long run, but at this point, who cares? If he ends up flaming out, it will just as likely happen to the next guy we sign. I am all for it. But I know that our front office is going to play dumb.
  15. I know it's just a generalization, but I can't help but thinking of Tutan Reyes when I hear that we are interested in an average, versatile OL from Carolina
  16. Hey, I've got a high motor and a never quit attitude.
  17. I thought he was very good. Probably the best backup OT we've had since Marcus Price. I loved that guy!
  18. I didn't think it was as bad as I've seen it between the two of them before, however I don't think they are worse than Clayton/Salsbury. Those two got personal (well, at least Salsbury did). This segment was basically Kiper attacking McShay for not being 100% on Stafford.
  19. Well, it's not great comparing ourselves to the Raiders, but they released both DeAngelo Hall and Gibril Wilson one year into their big contracts. So I guess this is not unheard of.
  20. Does anyone else think we're clearing up cap space to make a run at LeBron James next summer? I'm just saying...
  21. Dude, check your facts. Peters came here as a tight end. A very large tight end, but not too large to play offensive tackle. A guy that big can't be sloppy playing tight end, even in college ball. That's why they moved him to OT, because he was so athletic for this size. Weight was not an issue.
  22. Santonio Holmes was caught with weed during the 2008 season. Do you think Steelers fans cared much about that when he was making the Super Bowl winning TD grab? Um, nope. No team is immune from having players get into trouble. Pacman is one thing. But we're not dealing with anything special in Buffalo. If you want to run any guy that gets into trouble out of town, that's fine. But your team will be left with a bunch of Chris Kelsays and Kyle Williams'. Lovely...
  23. I guess I never understand certain things. In this instance, it's the connection between Jauron and Taylor. They were there for one year (as far as my understanding) together, a defensive coach and a rookie offensive player. That would be like Perry Fewell, as our defensive coordinator, having a relationship with Marshawn Lynch during his rookie year. Fast forward eleven years and Fewell is a head coach... I don't know, it just seems like it's reeeeally stretching...
  24. Woo hoo... I remember being skeptical last year, but I wanted to be a believer. I would consider myself a believe after last year's solid info.
