  1. I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine who's at practice and here's what he told me... Gailey- gave a motivational speech before practice. Talked about Bills Nation. Worked with offense only. Offensive playbook is diverse and isn't predictable. 5 wide sets. Edwards - still checking down and the fans kinda get on him whenever he does that. Looks decent. Fitzpatrick- isn't having a good day. Brohm- made nice deep throw to Nelson. Doesn't believe he's going to be the starter by the looks of it. Levi Brown- looks good. Makes nice throws. Roscoe- is being used in the slot. Is being used a lot. Having a good practice. Hardy- improved his route running ability, looks more fluid less stiff, and needs to improve on press coverage. Spiller- looks real fluid. Occasionally lined up at WR. Returned kickoffs with Chad Simpson. Evans and Fred Jackson- didn't practice. Levitre- is a bull. Wood- played Center Byrd- had a pic. Troupe- is a beast. Had a good day at practice. Good penetration. Kelsay and Maybin- starting OLB's. Nothing spectacular from Maybin. Called Maybin a ghost lol. Stroud- didn't practice. Lankster- had a pic. Lots of fans there which is to be expected. Lots of tailgaiting.
  2. NFL.com today announced they will be moving it's Fantasy Football League to cbssportsline.com Got the email sent to me today. I've participated in both leagues for the past 5 years and both sites we're pretty much identical, having said that the switch for me will not be a problem at all. CBS is pretty good in most areas but it has one big negative... Player reports on gameday have a tendency to either come in way too late or not at all for injured players or ''players on the bubble''.
  3. If I we're Nix I would offer Schobel to the Saints for Jamal Brown straight up. With the departure of DE Charles Grant the N.O Saints get a pass rushing DE it sorely lacks whom is one of the best in the NFL, Schobel gets to play real close to home and play with not just any winning team but the SB Champs, and we get our LT. Both players currently have pretty much the same trade value. Thers's also the Greg Williams factor. Everybody's happy. Losing Schobel will not be weaken the Bills D because we already have a surplus of talent at OLB. This is a case of addition by subtraction. Get er done!
  4. I live in San Marcos. I usually stay at home and watch them on NFL Sunday Ticket or do the same at my friends house who too is from Buffalo. Here's a few places Bills fans should check out if you live in San Diego or live near it. 710 Beach Club is located in Pacific Beach and is the best place to go because it's Bills Booster Club, the bar serves Sahlen's Hot Dogs, Wings, and Molsons, and the Beach is only 30 ft away. I plan on going there a lot more this season. http://www.sdbbc.org/
  5. I'm sorry for questioning your loyalty to our beloved Bills but for future purposes choose your words more carefully. For the past 10 years we've gone through a lot of hard times and I would like to see a little more confidence about our team around here. If the stank fish can go from 1-15 to 11-5 why can't we? each year is different and the past is the past. We now have competent leadership as opposed to the last one. Anything can happen guys. Go Bills!
  6. We're not asking you to lie we're just asking you to keep the SD thing to yourself. Personally I think one should only be a fan of 1 NFL team not 2 but hey it's a free country do as you please but you are in the minority because 99% of Bills fans only root for their Bills.
  7. I'm not a nut job just a die hard Bills fan. Look I don't have a problem with Bills fans choosing to cancel their season tickets because it's a losing product because we have the right to do so. The 1-15 prediction alone Isn't what bothered me it was the combination of that ''enjoy the misery at the Ralph while I get to watch the Chargers well until it matters'' and ''I have the pleasure of attending games where the home teams wins'' that bothered me. I took it as you implying we suck so I'll go root for another team that's better. Correct me if I'm wrong but when you come across like that it certainly doesn't sound like a joke now does it? There's a difference between Bills fans joking with one another about their team but once you add another team to the mix in the manner you did it sounds like your jumping off the bandwagon.
  8. Sure it may not be a winning season but there's no way your 1-15 prediction will come true. You're definitely not a REAL Bills fan since it appears you're a Chargers season ticket holder. Bills fans only support their team not others. The only time you should ever go to a Chargers game is when the Bills visit. Just to let you know I too live in San Diego and have been to many Bills games at the Q and one thing is for certain.... Most Chargers fans are thugs AND its employees treat visiting teams fans like garbage including myself. After a game I got heckled by a bunch of Chargers fans which is all good but several of its security personell physically grabs and tells me to shut up and escorts me out of the stadium. I wasn't even violent. I was like you got to be kidding me! In most stadiums that would've never happened. I'm sure you agree with that assessment because you've seen it with your own eyes. Please do Bills fans a favor and stop acting like you're a Bills fan because you don't bleed red, white, and blue but rather blue and gold.
  9. Here's an unofficial list of undrafted free agent signings by the Bills one of which I'm pleased to see. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/04/24/r...afted-signings/
  10. Yea and Jaws likes the pick too. I gave us an A+ grade for day 3. Great job Buddy.

  12. I say we Call Min or Stl and offer them Marshawn and our 2 for their pick so we can draft Clausen. Both need a backup RB.
  13. My surprise pick is Jerry Hughes, he's got mad skills. I'm predicting he will be a Pro Bowler real soon.
  14. Jamie Dukes compared Clausen to Rex Grossman on path to the draft. UGGHHH... I hope not.
  15. Chris Brown interviews Chad Jackson... http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/v...e9-75cfb77006c1

  17. Just to refresh our memories..... AND if Brohm entered this years draft what round do you think he'll be drafted in?
  18. If the Bills fare well in FA, the Draft, and its roster decisions, I have no reason to BILLIEVE we can end up 9-7 with the coaching staff we have now. Here's what I think the Bills should do this offseason. 1. Trade for a QB instead of drafting one early. Upcoming draft has no clear cut QB's that are worthy of drafting in the 1st rd, this years UFA QB's are very weak, therefore trading for one is the way to go. Mcnabb, Vick, Quinn, Anderson, and possibly Thigpen can be had through trades and all would be upgrades for the Bills. Trading for a vet QB will also give the Bills time to find out if Brohm or another young QB are the future or not. If I were the Bills FO I would offer the Eagles this years 2nd rd pick, next years 4th, and Whitner(Philly needs a Safety bad) for Mcnabb. If that doesn't work I would offer Whitner for Vick straight up or a 5th rd pick. The Bills more then likely will not be able to sign Vick if he's cut by the Eagles because the Rams are rumored to be the front runners and there's always a possibility other teams like the Cardinals or Seahawks can enter the bidding war for Vick's services as well. QB position problem solved with Mcnabb or Vick. 2. Draft a LT. LT should be addressed with our 1st rd pick because this years UFA LT's class is the weakest of all positions(none are worthy of signing IMO) and finding teams to trade with for one that is any good is rare unless your the Bills. If Bryan Bulaga is available at #9 overall he should be our pick. LT position problem solved with our starting O-Line hopefully looking like this: LT Bulaga, LG Levitre, C Wood, RG Incognito, and RT Butler which would be a mean -nasty lineup. 3. Sign UFA DT instead of drafting one early. position is very strong and should be the Bills major FA acquisition. 3-4 guys like Wolfork, Hampton, and Ryan Pickett are all available and would fit in perfectly with our new 3-4 Defense. Longshot FA pickup is Wolfork but since it's the Bills we're talking about here Casey Hampton is a good possibility. Even though DT position appears to be strong in the draft 3-4 DT's aren't because they come at a premium and are hard to find however drafting one for depth later in the draft is important. Potential DL starting lineup: Williams, Hampton, and Stroud. That's a good D-Line right there. Draft best available DE/DT in the 4th rd. 4. LB's are set with Schobel and Maybin as outside backers and Mitchell and Puz as inside backers. Draft a LB in the 3rd because UFA LB position is weak this year. 5. Sign 1 FA WR and Draft 1. Josh Reed is a UFA WR and will not be re-signed, if we don't upgrade at QB T.O is gone too, and there's a good possibility Parrish will be cut as well which means we can potentially have 3 open positions to replace. I believe Gailey and Nix are smart enough to understand that Hardy and Johnson aren't the answers at WR but rather ones who would come along gradually and fill specific roles on offense that is why its so important that we sign 1 or 2 UFA WR's to insert into the starting lineup. If we getMcnabb or Vick I would re-sign T.O and either Chris Chambers or Kevin Walter. If we dont get Mcnabb or Vick I would try to pickup Chambers and Walters. 6. Rd's 5-7 can be filled with RT, WR, LB, and DL. What do you think??
  19. I live in SD too. Two things both teams have in common: both choke in big games and both teams like to party a lot.
